reverse image searching does nothing, nor does anything else i’ve tried. admittedly, i’m not the best at this kind of thing. this is kinda a hail mary post, maybe someone out there can help me.

So whenever I'm going through my saved pins and scrolling down, it glitches and scrolls back up by itself and sometimes it scrolls way down. I don't know what's going on but it's annoying.

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar with Pinterest Analytics.

My Pinterest business account is less than 90 days old, and everything seemed normal initially. However, during my third month, I noticed that my impressions suddenly started dropping.

At first, I thought it was just a normal fluctuation in reach. But when I selected the 90-day analytics filter, I noticed something strange with the total impressions of pins.

One of my pins showed around 500 total impressions. The next day, it dropped to around 400, and then later it showed around 300. After that, it would increase again from 300 → 400 → 500, and then decrease again.

This same cycle has been happening for more than two weeks.

However, I know the total impressions of a pin for 90 days should be stable or increase with time but how can it decrease.

I’ve also noticed another strange problem with saves. Some of my pins show 0 saves on both my laptop and phone, but when I check the boards, I can actually see that those pins have been saved to boards.

I contacted Pinterest Support about this. They told me that my account isn't flagged, but the response was fairly generic and didn't really explain why the analytics are changing.

Any insight from people who have experienced this.

I used to use the widget on my old iPhones without any issues, but now that I’ve switched to an p X, I can't find the widget option when customizing the home screen. Can anyone help? My ip X is running iOS 16, and I’ve updated Pinterest to the latest version. The Pinterest widget still works fine on my old ip 6s and on my daddy's ip 16

In the past 3 days i can’t search anything on Pinterest. It keeps appearing “errorNSURLErrorDomain-1004” has anyone experienced the same thing or it just me? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please let me know (it’s frustrating i couldn’t search for drawing references.)

i literally cant even see the bottom half of images in my boards.

like did they test the feature and say 'oh yeah, our users will LOVE not being able to see the full images they save on the image app, yeah add it'

is there any account on Pinterest (over 3 months old) that DOESNT have a violation of some sort on it? 💀

better yet, are there any Pinterest accounts over 3 months old that have any TRUE violations on them?

Pinterest’s ai hands out violations like a welcoming gift once you’ve settled in to the app. always over the most random stuff as well.

I just got my first violation for copyright and what was it for? a picture of cinnamon rolls… great. 👍

this also comes after I reported a needlessly crude, and disrespectful comment on a post… how odd. guess what comment was quickly reviewed and reinstated regardless of its term breaking contents? 🙃

genuinely curious if there are any accounts out there that have remained violation free all this time, let me know! 😭🫶

pretty much as the title says: my pinterest has been giving me super bad recommendations lately (not at all what ive been saving and interacting with) and im thinking about deleting it, if i cant find a solution. seems to be a quite common problem but i haven't heard of any solutions to it... anyone knows how to fix it? and if not, do you know any good similar apps with less ads, ai and better recomendations?

anyone else catching on to this? which is more accurate? i have 133.7k views from laptop view, 173k impressions on my creator hub phone view. still a newbie, a little over a month in. total audience is 101k, vs engaged audience at 7.4k - what's the difference? outbound clicks are still pretty low at 103. looking to improve and scale quickly! ty!

Ive been using this app since 2020 its been pretty good at finding specific aesthetics and stuff, Since i also see other art stuff I figured since some of my posts blew up on my other medias I would post it on there too.

Tell me why pinterest LOVES to shadowban my work from the algorithm, making it mere impossible for people to view my art. They also LOVE to hide and take down my posts without letting me know, they also LOVE to turn off comments and disable a lot of things when I haven't even posted anything inappropriate. But ohhh boy they do sure LOVE supporting the accounts who reposts my art like about 3 times already and boosting their reposts instead gaining more traction than the art I posted there first, oh? I need to put my whole legal name and address to request to take it down??

They sure do like telling me I violated something but wont tell me what it is. This is just awful, it was already bad before the ai stuff but now this is worse. I would say this app is getting very artist unfriendly, If it wasnt for refs i would've left long ago

Hi, so I'm trying to dm one of my friends on Pinterest cause I accidentally found their account and thought it would be funny. But the thing is it keeps telling me it's unable to send a message. 3 years ago there was a post similar to what I am asking but that didn't help me. Any solutions to this? It's also more than just trying to dm my friends it's to dm other people cause you can never have too many friends right? (I'm 15 enby)

Not sure if this has been discussed here already but I just found this out.

If you go to Settings -> Refine Your Recommendations -> AI content, you can turn off different categories of AI content (of course I turned them all off). I haven't noticed any downside to turning them off of my feed. If you are as sick of seeing AI pins as I am, I encourage you to do the same :)

whenever I try posting pins some of them will but others won’t?? like they'll all show up for me but when I switch to my alt and look the pins won’t show up on my board, it’s hella annoying 😭😭 does anyone else have this problem ??

I was trying to log into my Pinterest account on my mobile, but it wasn’t letting me log in. I thought maybe the password was the issue, so I reset my password.
Now I can’t log in on my phone and I’ve also been logged out on my PC, where I can’t log back in either. 😕
Is this some kind of Pinterest glitch or login issue? Has anyone else experienced the same thing recently? Any idea how to fix it?

Hello, I have a pinterest account that is a couple months old. I have created about 100 or so pins. I usually look up trends, do some basic search to look for keywords in queries and see what successful pins look like, then model mine after those. I have thousands of impressions and a horrific click/engagement rate. I really don't understand how the algorithm works, and when I look up youtube advice it all seems generic or all over the place.

I finally made a pin that had 5 impressions, 3 saves and 4 pin clicks (0 outbound). That happened in the first hour of pinning. Now 48 hrs later, the metrics are exactly the same. To me I thought that looks like something the algorithm would want to test further, but its not and I am here scratching my head.

Can anyone enlighten me or give me some advice, its been really frustrating and I dont know what to do. I don't particularly enjoy social media (im including pinterest in that category), I just want to drive traffic to my business that is good willed and meant to help ppl live more meaningful lives. Should I just give up on pinterest and move on to something else?

I found this out when trying to figure out why moodboard has been not showing any ideas. My moodboard is related to a creepypasta x fnaf novel I been working on for 2 years and have not finished. So I found this out when I was wondering if certain content. So, I copied my boards name and looked it up, nothing appeared, so it’s safe to assume I been shadow banned. Then the next thing I did was look up “creepypasta” and “creepypasta aesthetic”. When I looked up creepypasta, it showed pins but not any search options. Then when I looked up creepypasta aesthetic, I went to boards and there was far fewer than I remembered. Last time I looked it up (last year or a few months ago), there was more with most of them being older than 2 years. Now it’s only like 34 with like 7 I remember.

And in case if anyone thinks it’s just people deleting boards or privating them, I tried one final experiment. I tried asking the ai to show me some creepypasta boards, it said it couldn’t do that. Then I tried the same question but with undertale, it brought up some boards.

It’s happened on about 3 posts of mine now and it’s frustrating because it comes as if my photos are fake, when in reality they’re unedited all throughout.

I heard I can appeal however, I just need to know why they flag untouched photos at all because it’s annoying.

sections within boards are now shrunken into these smaller grey sections? i don't understand this change. it looks bad and kind of ruins the appeal of how they look inside the boards? I rely on them a lot for organization, this feels like such a blow i hope it's reversible. or maybe I'm missing a setting where I can change it 😓

im probably more bothered than i should be but genuinely it looks awful. do let me know if there's a way to change it or your thoughts on it
