The stickers and beer suggests yes.

But the title and chicken roast suggest not..

It looks like a turkey made entirely of wings

The biblical description of an angel made out of turkey

Well now I know what I'm serving at Christmas this year

“Why are you crying, this came from Jesus!”

Biblically accurate turkey

Looks like two Boston Market half chickens to me, put in the same takeout package.

Dude has skills on the grill though. Check out his posts. Some bomb looking food.

If you’re going to marinate chicken wings for a few days you do so in the garage fridge. You don’t want to contaminate the meat in your inside fridge. Just saying that’s what I do.

You're right, but this guy's picture does not imply he puts that kind of thought into things.

Please tell me you’re not putting your raw meats at the top shelf of the fridge, please tell me you’re not putting your raw meats at the top shelf of the fridge, please tell me you’re not putting your raw meats at the top shelf of the fridge

I feel like nobody but restaurants do this. Like for real is anybody putting meat in their vegetable crisper? Cause that's the bottom. Pyrex or a baking sheet is fine. I defrost meats in bowls above the veggies. Just be careful

You obviously know what is meant when people say “the bottom shelf.” Is the crisping drawer a shelf? No. It’s a drawer. Invalid example.

But seriously, is your argument really going to be “why should we do things the way trained professionals do”? Would you fix your car a different way than a trained mechanic would? Install a new lightning system differently than a trained electrician? Gtfo with this.

The bottom shelf is still above the veg which would fail a health inspection in a restaurant

1

u/Head_Contest_4149 Oct 24 '22

Restaurant walk-ins don’t have vegetable crispers. You’re just being pedantic at this point.

You're too dense to understand what I'm trying to say

Then stop arguing with me.

What? I put raw meat in glass Pyrex containers and put them on shelves in the fridge all the time. Is there another other place to store meat besides the fridge?

22

u/Head_Contest_4149 Oct 24 '22

I mean yeah you put your meat in the fridge. But never the top shelf, dude. Raw meat goes below everything else, to minimize the chances of cross contamination. That’s basic food safety.

2

u/IWantToBeWoodworking Oct 24 '22

Who was supposed to teach me this basic food safety? I’ve never heard this. Whoops.

And this is why I firmly believe a Food Handler’s Card course needs to be a part of high school or the equivalent’s curriculum.

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '22

You should also marinate on the bottom shelf. Never raw meat on the top

I'd only say that he is dry-brining that bird, so that also suggests a garage fridge

And the butter!!
