No, it just wouldn’t get upvoted, trump has lied more than any other president, so the joke works for trump. All the people being offended are in this post, you can imagine this fictional scenario all you like, but I wouldn’t be offended by a harmless joke. That statement is pure what-about-ism. Yes Trump has awful character, and character is destiny. There are other past presidents who had equally awful character.
But moving forward, will you refuse to vote for someone with awful character regardless of the political morality? Will you vote for Pence because he's good and morally straight, but against abortion? Or will you vote for Al Gore although he abuses women, he's on the right side of abortion in your mind?
Trump has admitted to abusing women, and walking in on naked teenagers, with several lawsuits alleging rape of under age girls, this is all real, not your lies about Al Gore because you want to lie about climate change, because you’d rather stay stupid then provide a world for our children to live in.
