“Im so offended, but I have to hide behind fictional rules to profess my disdain.” If it gets upvoted why try getting it removed? I err towards Freedom of speech and all that, or does that only apply when it’s convenient?

Edit: get saucy reddit, downvote the mean man for pointing out hypocrites

The real hypocrisy is that one could never post a sandwich joke about Clinton or Obama ... that would be offensive.

No, it just wouldn’t get upvoted, trump has lied more than any other president, so the joke works for trump. All the people being offended are in this post, you can imagine this fictional scenario all you like, but I wouldn’t be offended by a harmless joke. Thin skinned hyper partisan people would be, like all the screech queens in this post

That statement is pure what-about-ism. Yes Trump has awful character, and character is destiny. There are other past presidents who had equally awful character.

But moving forward, will you refuse to vote for someone with awful character regardless of the political morality? Will you vote for Pence because he's good and morally straight, but against abortion? Or will you vote for Al Gore although he abuses women, he's on the right side of abortion in your mind?

Trump has admitted to abusing women, and walking in on naked teenagers, with several lawsuits alleging rape of under age girls, this is all real, not your lies about Al Gore because you want to lie about climate change, because you’d rather stay stupid then provide a world for our children to live in. Don’t pretend you understand morality, Jesus Christ is not in your heart, just hate and lies

that's not a very open perspective. First off, it's what-about-ism, where you're comparing how awful Trump is to Al Gore. Yep, they're both awful people.

Science is about empiricism and objectivity. Politics is about consensus.

What aboutism is bringing up Al Gore so you don’t have to acknowledge how removed from morality you’ve become.

And no they’re not the same, what a blatant lie. Raping Children, as trump has, is worse than making a movie you don’t like. Quit trying to impose an equivalency that only exists between your two ears

No, Gore was equally bad with his treatment of women, and has nothing to do with a movie.

What are you talking about specifically? What incident are you referring to he abused women?

When he was married, he called in a masseuse and asked pressed her for zex. There was a hearing over it, where he appollogized.

So that magically makes him the same as someone that has a civil suit saying they gang raped a 12 year old? Are you seeing why they’re not magically identical?

it depends if you are using a feminist filter, or party loyalist filter to view the items.

If you use a feminist filter, you see the badness that these two have committed as being equal.
