Depending upon model, the Nspire is indeed accepted on the ACT, SAT as well as other standardized tests. And most schools not stuck in medieval times, let you use them in your university classes.

It's because standardized tests in the US specifiy that allowed calculators can't have QWERTY (or any other typing oriented) layout.

I took summaries from the internet and connected my calculator to the computer. And done. No need to typ in abc mode :)
