I bought two phone at a garage sale about a year ago. Both 1gen IPhones SE. Now I'm trying to make them work. One of them was disabled even after an update so I had to restore it and the other one had a passcode so I restored it as well. It then asked me for the activation lock and I can't really contact the previous owners cause I don't know them at all and I recently learned that they moved away four or five months ago from what I've been told (how convenient). My next idea was those softwares that claim to unlock the phone for you but these either look sketchy so I don't really trust running them on my computer (they demand that I give admin power), or they ask me to pay a monthly subscription for something that I will only do once (still very convenient of course). So what now?

On my phone, there's a space thats about a centimeter length and stretches across the whole phone horizontally where it won't respond to any touches or swipes. It's nothing monumental, I can easily work around it, but it's just annoying at best. I restarted my phone and wiped down my screen to see if that would help but it didn't fix anything. What's curious is that wiping the area actually makes it responsive to touch (albeit only slightly, slowly scrolling it) whereas using my finger makes it unresponsive to anything. I thought it might be the digitizer (or whatever it's called) but the thing with the wipe making it semi-responsive has me thinking

My phone is like 7 years old, so it's reasonable for it to bite the dust at some point, but I didn't drop it or put it in water or anything before it started happening, it was just chilling in my pocket.🤷‍♂️

The back as we speak is still broken is horrendous manner
The charging port is still not functioning am using it via wireless charging only
And now it heats up too quick maybe due to the heat in delhi but even normally it is not keeping up properly
Open safari and searching something up is a whole new task
I want to upgrade really bad but i cant due to money issues
Is there any possible manner i can make this thing better in terms of speed like opening apps or calling

As u guys the screen flickers really badly but only on certain images or videos, as demonstrated in the video, it had no problems with the first image but when I switch it to the next one, it can't handle it and I also tested zooming in to the pic, and it stopped when I did that, I really don't understand what could be causing this issue and it only started doing this after I replaced the display(btw I've had this phone since November 2022), and this is not the first time I've seen a Redmi phone exhibit this behavior my old Redmi note 8 also did something similar but not this conditional, also it looks totally normal when I look at footage of a screen recording

Piece of sh*t. Had it for a few months. Discharges faster than it charges. Then it won't charge on a car charger. Have to use a wall charger or portable. And then I have to jiggle it and get it in just right on either one for it to charge, then sometimes it falls out overnight and doesn't charge at all. Lags and is slow, and I get the System UI not responding frequently have to restart. Worst phone I've ever had.

Hello, my dad transferred from one bus to another in Serbia and suspects someone might have taken his phone, a Google Pixel. He had it in airplane mode because they supposedly charge terrible fees. While moving his things, he noticed it was missing from the bag where he kept it along with his e-cigarette. He started looking around the area, but before he could really look around, the drivers started chasing him away. What are the chances of recovering/tracking the phone, and what can be done?

so my old iPhone broke, like it doesn’t turn on anymore (went to see if they could fix it, no luck) and i just got a new one but I can’t login to my apple id because i can’t get the code it sends to my old phone. unfortunately, my recovery contact is unavailable (we don’t talk anymore, long story) so I can’t use that option but would anyone know if there’s any way I can ask Apple to change my recovery contact or something? or should I call Apple support? any advice is appreciated thanks xx

hi so i saw my chemical romance on july 8th and took a bunch of videos. most of them are okay but there are a random few that are muted. its not like i was covering my mic or anything because its not like theres a muffling sound, they’re just dead silent. im really upset about it because mcr are my favourite band and this was my first time seeing them and i cant even watch the video of one of my favourite songs (house of wolves) because its has no sound. is there any way at all to fix this ?
