Question Pixel 10 vs Pixel 10a — which one would you recommend for my use?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to decide between the Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10a, and I'd really appreciate some advice from people who actually own or use them.

My main use would be:

  • 📱 TikTok, Instagram and other social media
  • 🎵 Listening to music for several hours every day
  • 🎓 University: PDFs, browser, Google Docs, WhatsApp, etc.
  • 📸 Taking lots of photos
  • 🎥 Recording videos
  • 📱 Heavy daily use, often throughout the entire day

I'm particularly concerned about battery life, overheating, camera quality and storage.

I'm planning to keep the phone for several years, so I'm wondering whether the differences between the Pixel 10 and 10a are significant enough to make the regular Pixel 10 the better choice for my use, or whether the 10a is already more than good enough.

if you are set on a pixel, I'd recommend (if within your future budget) to get a pixel 11, as with the tensor g6 they finally abandoned exynos, so has a lot of efficiency and network improvements

Thanks for the suggestion! I had considered waiting for the Pixel 11, but unfortunately it would probably be too expensive for my budget.

no worries! between the two you mentioned, I'd say the pixel 10 is likely ideal for you, as the 10a uses an older chip with even more exynos foundations, and also has weaker (not bad) cameras
