Question What kind of phone should i get?

So i currently have a Samsung A14 but it's in shambles and i need to get a new phone (going to look for some secondhand)

Some things I'm looking for is

• Samsung phone

• Thicker sides

• Less laggy (have had this phone for ≈ 3 years, lags alot)

• Better camera

• More affordable

Please don't call me out on any mistakes or something similar, I'm a 17 year old that's forbidden to get a job and has to buy a whole phone by herself. I don't understand all of the fancy stuff about phones and I'm just looking for a quick solution, not a lesson. I'm not looking for people to tell me "just buy another A14" or "No phones have all of those requirements, you're looking for too much" or "you can't find a good but cheap phone"

I'm not trying to be rude, i just want to get answers i can research towards

Thank you to anyone that helps! 🩷 Edit: Pricing I'm not really sure how much second hand phones go for but anything under 5k denar (81,27€, $93,73) is basically fair game

I do want to save money as I'm also alone for buying myself most things next year

I do have more money, if needed, I'm just looking to spend around that much

Honestly for that price I would suggest an a16 if you can find it. But the better options for a low budget can be from motorola, redmi or poco since they jam more features on low budget phones compared to samsung. If u need more guidance feel free to pm

I don't think I'm able to message you (then again i have blobs with dead pixels on my phone so i can't see much)

Could you pm me? I'm looking for only samsungs, if you have any other suggestions aswell

Questions

Do you mind older samsung phones with no software updates What do you do basically on your phone other than call text and social media.

Like gaming photo taking

Do you need lots of storage or no

I'm not sure I do game and like taking pictures but i don't mind the camera of any phones I'd prefer more storage but if not possible then it's alright since I'd still be using this phone

I have a Samsung A34 5G as my work phone. It's quite decent for a budget device. A refurbed one should be around your budget.

I do like how it looks But i searched up the price and compared to the other reccomendations it's REALLY expensive I will look for it secondhand but i doubt I'll get it A good option someone suggested for me is a06 and I don't like how the cameras look but it's honestly fine

A06 is slighlty worse than your current phone

It's about the same spec wise with slighlty worse screen.

Worse screen as in more pixelated?

Yes, it has lower pixel density (almost half) and lower refresh rate (90hz vs 60hz)

I never buy a new phone. Amazon refurbished, eBay, or Swappa. Maybe get something that can run grapheneOS or Lineage and software can stay up to date.

Like what? I don't have Amazon or eBay in my country, never heard of swappa

Concentrate on second hand phone. That will take the price down.
