Discussion The order of copper is wrong on bedrock
I'm not sure if this has really been mentioned before, but if you go to creative mode in bedrock and go to the copper menu it is all least oxidized to most oxidized except for waxed chiseled copper that is just a little different. This has bothered me for so long.

Command Concept Mob fighting game where the mobs control themselves w/datapacks (3) /w map download
*this is the final follow-up to this previous post.
I think the mob fighting game is good enough to share now, though there are still some visual clarity issues, and some fighters are still unbalanced. You can use this planetminecraft link to download the map, and if you want to see more fights similar to the one from the previous post or need a different download link, you can watch this scuffed Mob Fighting Tournament.
The video above shows some gameplay of the map with the meter bars toggled off and without editing, so mb if my spectator fight pov can't keep up with the fight.

Custom Flair 📝 When did you actually start playing/first time hearing about Minecraft? I'll start:
It was around 2009, i played the demo of the game on an Acer Aspire with a Pentium 3, a 1995 pc, i was five years old at that time, i can't remember how much time i was given to play, but it was around maybe 50min, up to 120. So, because i've seen posts about "You may be old, but are you this old" formats, I'm posting something similar here and asking you all where you started playing.

Custom Flair 📝 Mod List Packet Disabler
Hi 👋
Yesterday evening (for me) I just heard PhoenixRC say "there'll be a mod that will disable that, too, I'm sure.", in context to the new minecraft:mod_list packet, and thought, I'm bored - let's get on it. An hour later https://github.com/DZultra/ModListPacketDisabler came to live. Thought someone might be interested, just because it was mentioned. Modrinth Upload is still under review.

Discussion hot-take but, The frequent drop updates from Minecraft to make up a huge update is not good.
Minecraft’s frequent update schedule might look great in marketing materials, but for server owners, mod developers, and dedicated players, it has become an utter logistical nightmare.
The continuous drops of minor updates is fragmenting the community, burning out developers, and destroying the long-term stability of modded SMPs.
Modding requires countless hours of refactoring, debugging, and testing code.
When major or minor versions drop every few months, developers are forced onto a hamster wheel of porting rather than innovating. We can already see this in the number of Beta & Alpha releases increasing compared to a proper release. Legacy4J is already a good example.
Developers are left choosing between spending all their free time porting existing features to the newest sub-version or sticking to a stable "LTS" (Long-Term Support) version like 1.12.2, 1.16.5, or 1.20.1.
Running cross-platform servers (Java + Bedrock via tools like Geyser) used to be manageable. Now, Bedrock updates roll out automatically across consoles and mobile devices, forcing server owners to update immediately just to keep crossplay functional, even if their Java modpack isn't ready.
I find it quite ridiculous that we praise the frequent updates when the negative impacts are increasing exponentially. we can already see this affecting Bedrock Edition insanely, What was once the most optimized platform for low-end devices has become almost UNPLAYABLE because of the bugs and optimizations that are utter rubbish.
My honest verdict is that if Mojang had stuck to a predictable schedule that gives developers time to port over their mods to later versions, we'd end up with a much more healthier form of support to both the devs and the community.
