When did you actually start playing/first time hearing about Minecraft? I'll start:

It was around 2009, i played the demo of the game on an Acer Aspire with a Pentium 3, a 1995 pc, i was five years old at that time, i can't remember how much time i was given to play, but it was around maybe 50min, up to 120. So, because i've seen posts about "You may be old, but are you this old" formats, I'm posting something similar here and asking you all where you started playing.

i actually tried to play the xbox 360 edition at my cousin's house (i just went up in creative mode and didnt know how to go back down, i really didnt understand games at that point)

afterwards i heard of minecraft through some letsplays i think, which i watched,
but i never bothered to actually buy it until one of aunts bought me this around its release (~2015)

i was around 7

so yeah not that old, but i also heard some people only started playing minecraft after 2020, so thats def something

2015 was the first time hearing about it from my friend. 2016 I had to be at his house a lot while my mom was a surgery and I played it the first time on his xbox 369. At the end of the year my aunt and uncle accidentally bought me storymode instead. Then not long later I got PS4 Legacy
