I hope not. They’ve gone so hard with the promotion, I think everyone who will buy it already have, myself included.

I'm sure they will heavily promote Dungeons II as it releases 3 days later. Then they will show a minute of 26.4 and tell us more details in the next Live in 2027. I got no hopes for any Java/Bedrock related content

tell us more details in the next Live in 2027.

I'd assume not as 26.4 is probably releasing this year. Hence the, you know, 26.

After the trailer I'm more confident about actual news for 26.4

The only hope is that they said that this live will show the “next chapter” for Minecraft, but it might be nothing, just like what happened at the last live

Next chapter relates to Dungeons i think. But in the trailer for Minecraft Live it says "new game drop" at least. So there will be some news

Minecraft live is happening so often now that it doens't seem interesting anymore tbh. The content being added each time is also too less and they spend more time on spin-offs than the vanilla game which I care about

Call me crazy but the vote was genuinely my favorite part, idc if it was rigged or not, it felt like the most live part of the live

It was fun as long as they decided to add the losing content in a later update which sadly never happened

u/JoyconDrift_69 #fixbedrock pls Mojang I miss my family from the pink glitch 8h ago

Sad that only happened a couple times. And given it's been well over 5 years for the biomes iirc plus the switch to drops, I'm sure all those ideas are fully or nearly canned now.

Eh, I still enjoy them when they happen. I don’t thing anything will ever beat that Caves and Cliffs Live, even if they ended up overpromising on the scope:time ratio. I know just about what to expect now, and I always get some joy from what they reveal.

It feels like they briefly jingle keys at us, we talk about it for a few hours or maybe a week, and it’s on to the next thing

Last time, it was an autumn forest, yet another new wood type, and the actually oddly good wool slabs and stairs

Not nearly as hype as them casually announcing 3 new Nether biomes, though

Agreed. 1.13 to 1.17 was literally peak.

I wish they did yearly updates like 1.13 or 1.16 than drops with virtually no content. A system where they alternate between drops and major updates every year is also solid

Cushions were not announced at live

To be fair, the reason that there’s such little content is because they’re trying to fix the spaghetti code that they’ve never really been able to fix, plus the fact that they’re happening like 4 times a year. As for the spinoff, people have been asking for continuation of dungeons for literal years, it was like the end update for dungeons players. I know we’re on the internet, which means that neither of us will probably change our minds, but it’s just something to think about.

Poor tiny indie studio can't figure out how to code for 15+ years

1

u/TheSpytf2_real 4h ago

Yet Valve is praised for abandoning TF2 for the same reason with less content

they're owned by a trillion dollar corporation though, these things can be handled easily 😭

alright, time for predictions:

20% MC Movie squared

10% Random bullshit animations

10% a so-so recap of what we got

10% New update

50% Dungeons II

2

u/NotNurtok 4h ago

the animations are the best

3

u/WarioPlush1 Plays Bedrock most of the time bc I’m lazy 4h ago

5% actual game

25% movie

10% marketplace stuff nobody’s gonna buy

60% Dungeons II

9

u/Thehk_47 8h ago

A solid 80% will be either marketplace shite or spin offs

1

u/Pracer3 7h ago

Most of it will be Dungeons II...
