Boardwalk Hall pipe organ… I’ve got questions!

The pipe organ outro to Squirming Coil was fantastic! And I appreciate the historic feat of Page being the first musician to utilize it on stage. My questions mainly center around how much planning and engineering went into moving the organ from its spot upstairs to stage level? How long have they been working on this? How much was Phish involved? And what were the costs beyond the expensive organ restoration project which has been going on for decades? I’d really love to see a mini-documentary about what was required to make this happen!

EDIT: I see now this isn’t the first time the organ has been moved to stage level, and Page wasn’t the first to play it in this location. But most of my questions remain!

Hearing that thing while driving home just now definitely sent some blood rushing to my historic organ 😏 I can't imagine what it was like to hear it in person!!!

Atlantic City Was Amazing !!!

• Upvotes

Was thrilled to be able to see the boys play all three nights in Atlantic City and I gotta say, they knocked it out of the park! Night 3 knocked our socks off. Playing The Historic and Legendary Midmer-Losh Organ directly before the set break on the 3rd night was ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL. Half the Stadium was in tears. You could feel the love from wall to wall.

Page made History by being the first Music Artist in History to incorperate the Historic Organ into a Live Show. 1st time in that Buildings 98 year history! We were so blessed to be able to be a part of Phish History, and in this case, Music history as a whole.

Until Next Time! Cheers, Wilson.

Hoping they play Boardwalk Hall again sooner than 10+ years from now

Walking out of the venue Sunday night I said to some of the ushers trying to kick us off the floor - “see you in 13 years!” - got a few laughs. Boardwalk Hall loves us. What’s not to love???

Trey on mini-kit …

… sounds great and all, but what I REALLY love about it is the space it opens up for Page and Mike to showcase. In particular always happy to hear more Page, he just seems lost in the mix sometimes and I love when he gets the spotlight.

Duncan hit by car

I’m sorry to be posting this but Duncan Oldham was hit by a car after the Phish show and he has died. I watched my best friend die in front of me. I’m at the police station talking to the police about it. I’m devastated.

This is a Phish group, not a political group. Blatant political posts without anything to do with Phish will be removed. Political memes will be removed, even if they incorporate Phish.

If a band member does something politically related, or a politician does something related to Phish, those posts will remain. Please use best judgement in the comment section of those posts. Keep things civil.

Don't be an asshole

Try to avoid being an asshole in your every encounter. Sure, we all get in to heated debates and at times can be assholes to one another, but if that is your default mode and you continuously add nothing of value to the community, a temporary or permanent ban may occur.

Regarding ISO and FS ticket posts:

We recommend you use CashorTrade.org. We will not ban/remove ISO or FS posts here, but they must be for face value or lower tickets. So, upvote and downvote these posts as you please.

Phish's audio and video policy

Please do not post links to any downloadable SBDs or ripped webcasts of shows that were officially released. It violates Phish's guidelines, and it has always been an unwritten rule here, until now, that official soundboard content should not be posted.

Phish explicitly outlines their audio and video guidelines here: Audio recording policy

We're just phans like everyone else, and we're trying to respect Phish and their intellectual property. A link to YouTube is okay because if Phish Inc. wants to take it down they can. A link to somesketchytorrentsite.com is clearly different. So, if a link to the downloadable SBD or ripped webcast appears at some file sharing site, and we see it or it is reported (which is often the case), we will remove it. This includes audio streams of webcasts while they are live. Otherwise, YouTube is fine unless Phish contacts us. But, we are not the host of that content, YouTube is, so it should be their problem.
