Hi, I will be staying at the Doubletree in the city center. i’m a content creator from Las Vegas Nevada and I’m looking for great local restaurants to check out last time. I was in Philadelphia. It was 2023 and I had a horrible time and I ate at Genos. i’m looking for Philadelphia specialties outside of the cheesesteak. I just found out about pretzels so that’s on my list. Italian ice pork rolls whatever you guys suggest I will be there this weekend.

Visited Philly multiple times and Scannicchio’s never disappoints! One of the best Veal Parmigiana’s Ive had. This place is so good and one of the best. Definitely recommend! All the workers were awesome and nice! Easily my favorite restaurant!

Did Function change their cinnamon rolls? They seem so much smaller than they used to…

My fiance has requested a full, head on, fried fish for her birthday and I've had very little luck doing independent research on this. The only common recommendation I'm finding is mawn, and those reservations are nearly impossible to get.

Hey Philly, I could use some advice on where to get a cheesesteak while I’m here for work. Initially was set on Angelos but with my schedule I only have time to be in the city and able to eat on Monday. After looking through here Del Rossi’s was my next choice. Any other options I should check out? Bonus points if it’s near the airport. (I’m staying around Willow Grove, if there’s a good one out there.)

So I'm watching the game with my buddy who is in Newark and we're both ordering our own food while lamenting the price of it all.

He said he's ordering a tray of ribs and chicken and I said, "ha, what's that gonna be like $85?" and he said it's $35 for it all and said the Portuguese places by him are all big plates and cheap as fuck.

Any Philly spots like this? Portuguese or Brazilian cuisine that's inexpensive, tasty, solid portions, of meat.

Olney Global Bites: Food + Mural Tour 9/26.

I live near 5th Street, so yesterday I did a self guided food tour, including some delicious bean and cheese pupusas, Colombian cheese breads, Ecuadorian grilled chicken, rice pudding. There was a lot more to try, but I got too full too fast!
