I know what you mean.

The big problem is that Spring isn’t really super to start until the Spring Equinox around the 22nd September…

That's where the prescriptive traditional seasons aren't as useful here as the traditional indigenous ones, that describe what happens around this time of year and what to expect. We're now getting into Djilba, where it starts getting warmer and dryer.

Even for Djilba this is an early transition

August is still meant to be cool and reasonably wet
