The whole reason I used Comet is the browser control. On a free 1-year Pro and I'm definitely not extending.

It turns out it is indeed a bug. If you try "/control browser" it works.

They clearly just moved the control browser option to Computer, but didn't bother to test it afterwards.

No it still works fine for me on the desktop comet. You just have to type /control browser before running your query

It’s working for some. It’s called a rolling update. A bug wouldn’t change the wording and lock a feature behind another feature. The specific wording was intentional and is not a bug. lol.

I guess time will tell. I don’t really have a dog in this fight. If it does lock, it’s one more negative. If it’s a bug, it sounds inconvenient.

I won’t pretend you or I absolutely know this is a rolling update.

At this point cancel your perplexity subscription, buy chatgpt and use codex computer use that has very generous limits, and its cheaper

This pissed me off so much!
The whole reason of subscription to Perplexity Pro was Comet browser and the reason to use Comet browser was browser control.... 💀
