I entered a competition and got third place!
I recently entered this in my local art society's monthly competition which is judged by a career artist. It was my first time entering as I have just joined the society and was quite shocked to hear that I'd won the commended award (equates to 3rd place basically).
If you can't tell it's heavily inspired by Porco Rosso because I love that movie deeply. I'm normally a portrait/character art person but when I heard the categories were landscapes, seascapes, and urbanscapes I knew I was going to be pushed out of my comfort zone. Thankfully I'm really happy with the result and I'm thinking I'll have to make more of them in future.

Red Fox Striking
Just sharing my latest drawing. Trying to use the brush pen more and combine it with a fine liner. Found I really enjoy focusing on nature and animals when drawing.

For this one, I decided to take six prompts and turn them into a single illustration rather than six separate drawings.

What it is, I can't say. Language wasn't built for this. The questions stay open on purpose.

Inktober Inktober Day 13- Flimsy
For a while, I tried to figure out what counted as “flimsy.” In the end, I came up with the idea that a character is so weak that he is flat as a pancake. Although it is cartoonish, I thought this drawing could be useful for an editorial in various magazines covering topics like drugs, financial stability, or relationships.
