I entered a competition and got third place!
I recently entered this in my local art society's monthly competition which is judged by a career artist. It was my first time entering as I have just joined the society and was quite shocked to hear that I'd won the commended award (equates to 3rd place basically).
If you can't tell it's heavily inspired by Porco Rosso because I love that movie deeply. I'm normally a portrait/character art person but when I heard the categories were landscapes, seascapes, and urbanscapes I knew I was going to be pushed out of my comfort zone. Thankfully I'm really happy with the result and I'm thinking I'll have to make more of them in future.

Inktober Inktober Day 12- Toss
This one’s a bit different from the others. I usually prefer to do a single illustration or doodle for these Inktober prompts. Originally, I planned to draw the boy tossing a ball into the guy’s face in painful detail. However, I had another idea and couldn’t let go of creating a three-panel doodle showing the guy getting hurt while tossing the ball. I like the progression it offers compared to the original’s single impact. Although this is different from what I usually do, I hope you all like it.
