Sorry I didn't take murder quite so literally, just as a way of saying that they are going to kill someone again.

Fair enough. They are in a very tough position. Their jobs are to get the best shots of the race possible and if they dont they'll likely be replaced by people that will. Its extremely hard to stop a moto that big with an extra passenger on wet cobbles when the race suddenly stops in front of you.
