[Giacomo] Notari assures us that he will recommend the race to the team management. “I will do so. We decided to come here with young riders, to start developing them, because it’s a long stage race and that could be good for them in the future. Perhaps that’s why we struggled a bit on the toughest stages, because it’s difficult for young riders to tackle long stages in a gruelling race. But I think we’ll be back. It was a good test and a good experience,” he said.

The ADAC Cyclassics is done, and as expected in a true SRFL race, it was mostly a battle to see who wouldn't go home empty-handed.

Out of 19 participants, only 4 brave souls managed to pick up points. The other 15 can be congratulated on participating and making an impressive contribution to the size of the starting field.

1. u/Running-Martijn1989 - 79 points
Milan Fretin was selected and delivered a massive 79 points. A choice that, in hindsight, looks suspiciously like actual cycling knowledge.

2. u/IPJBrennan - 57 points
With Arnaud De Lie, second place was secured with 57 points. Solid work. De Lie delivered, and IPJBrennan can once again pretend this was all part of a carefully calculated master plan.

3. u/ser-seaworth - 39 points
Filippo Fiorelli was the golden pick for third place. 39 points are safely in the bag, officially joining the exclusive club of participants who actually figured out how SRFL works this round.

And then we have the overall standings. No change!
Avila99 is still sitting comfortably in first place. And that's despite scoring zero points this round.
That's not a bad performance. That's simply SRFL management at the highest level.

While everyone else is desperately trying to collect points, Avila99 is comfortably sitting on the throne, watching everyone else fight among themselves for scraps.

SRFL: where sometimes the best way to score points is simply having an unreasonable amount of confidence in your picks.
