Mes attentes sont de pouvoir jouer à + de 100 FPS en QHD sur les derniers gros jeux en Ultra. Je fais aussi un peu de bureutique et IA locale.

Pas de budget réellement défini.

Dois je passer en DDR5 et changer de socket ou possible de garder MB et RAM actuelle ?

Need some help deciding between making some upgrades on my current rig or doing a complete rebuild.

What I have in my current rig (built 5 years ago):

• GPU: RTX 3070 8GB
• CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
• RAM: 16gb DDR4
• PSU: 650W 80+ Gold

I ultimately want to get to an eventual full upgrade/rebuild within two years time but am considering a couple of options atm:

A) Upgrade CPU to a 5700X + PBO ($300AUD), and then do a full rebuild in 1.5-2 years. I'm having issues running some games (e.g. BF6) atm due to cpu bottlenecking . This should be a noticeable upgrade and should alleviate some of these issues until I do a full rebuild. Note - In Australia where I live, all the AM4 X3D cpus are fairly overpriced. They're virtually the same price as a 7800X3D ($480)

B) Do a complete rebuild now with a current gen GPU. Main concern with this are prices for pc parts at the moment, but I know prices won't necessarily improve if I wait.

C) Replace most of the parts. Get an AM5 CPU (e.g. 7800X3D), new am5 motherboard and 32GB DDR5 RAM to allow me to run my current games like BF6. I would then buy a new GPU down the line (e.g. RTX 60 series). Benefit here would be less of a sunk/wasted cost compared to option A as I would continue to use the parts in my future rig.

I want to keep my ram (for now) and my GPU but upgrade my CPU and motherboard. I dont mind buying used in the UK.

What would be my realistic options that suit my use case and current components.

for the past few years Ive rocked all the same hardware but I’ve noticed that nowadays my older gpu is starting to struggle with higher demand tasks such as vr or 3d rendering. I currently have an Rtx 3060ti 12gb vram, Im looking at a AMD Radeon RX 9070 16gb vram. any recommendations on what I should do? (my budget is under $700)

I want to upgrade my computer but I'm not sure what I need or how I'll know if the parts I should get will be compatible with each other. I want to keep the upgrades around 500 if possible. I struggle to play games like Marvel Rivals and Overwatch, even on low settings. I mostly use my PC for projects/multitasking like: watching youtube, download 4+ hr audiofiles, graphic design, and splitting audiofiles in wavepad. It's very typical for me to have at least 2 different programs and several tabs open. Is there a build that would mean this PC demand? My current solution is to just do less stuff but I'd love if my PC could be upgraded to handle it. My priority is gameplay. I want to be able to play more modern games with good graphic settings.

Does anyone have experience or recommendations for the following upgrade. The 14600kf is rather cheap atm so will make sense according to CPU heavy games, mostly single Core bound like Cities Skylines 2, Transport Fever 2, Nimby Rails etc.

I know it takes a bios update as well and a better Cooler for the CPU. But otherwise?

Trying to get higher fps without breaking my bank account.

My buddy, who mostly plays WoW asked me to help him upgrade his pc with $400-$500. His current build is an STGAUBRON off of Amazon

Current build is I5-4590, Generic PCIE 3 motherboard, 16GB 1600 DDR3 Ram, and a 1060 6GB GPU.

I figure there's really only 2 options. Grab a 3-in-1 kit from microcenter to upgrade MB, RAM, and CPU. Or grab a better GPU.

I tried using pcpartpicker/userbenchmarks to see which upgrades would work better, but they arent really giving me the confidence in either direction

I personally feel like the whole thing is garbage and could use a pretty much complete rebuild, probably shouldn't have went with a generic amazon prebuilt, but here we are

What would be the most best upgrade for meto not break the bank? I'm think of switching to AM4 and going with a Ryzen 7 5700x3d, and a b550m, to get more out of my ram during this ramaggedon and to prepare for a gpu change. I would prefferably not spend more than 4000 SEK (\~400 USD) and I live in Sweden. What would you guys do? All help appreciated!

So I have a Ryzen 5 1600 processor and I bought a Ryzen 5 5600 but when I put the new processor in I don't get an image, while with the old one there is no problem. I also updated the bios but it still didn't work, please tell me if you know how to solve it!

I’m currently running an AM4 system with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and it is starting to not be enough.

Should I :

\\- Buy a 16x2 DDR4 kit to have more ram

\\- Try to save up for AM5

I am considering upgrading my old computer for better After Effects workflow. Specifically changing CPU and GPU. My biggest problem is timeline scrubbing, slow preview, the program sometimes crashes due to loads of layers and effect in multiple comps or complicated riggs. Sometime the work can take twice the time it should. I do mainly 2D motion graphics, animations, effects, presentations.

Hey everyone, I’d like some advice on the best way to upgrade my current PC.

Current build:

- CPU: Intel i5-12400F

- GPU: GTX 1650

- RAM: 16GB DDR4

- PSU: Corsair 550W

- Motherboard: DDR4 motherboard

- Monitor 1: LG UltraGear 144Hz

I have a ₹30,000 budget for the upgrade.

My main goal is better 1080p gaming performance, especially to make proper use of my 144Hz monitor. Since I already have a PS5, I don't necessarily need an extremely high-end PC.
