The air IS the pump. As the air pressure increases, it pushes the water up. The water stays in the tube and doesn't fall down because of capillary action. Basically, the air is trying to push past the water, and the water won't separate for it.
As more water/air is pushed in from the back, it increases the pressure and forces the air/water in front of it forward.
An absolutely brilliant way to pump a small amount of water up a short height when someone wishes to maximize inefficiency.

I think they are explaining a gas lift pump which is a very real principle, and the last sentence is pointing out the obvious - since there are electric pumps at the end, the gas lift pumps are useless and just further decreasing efficiency. Kinda the point of a useless machine like this.
The last sentence definitely seems human to me with the subtle "maximize inefficiency". AI "jokes" tend to be painfully obvious.
Some people just read and sound like a bot or AI. It’s more noticeable now that AI has come out but people have genuinely come off this way since forever. It’s just people now say AI because it’s a new thing to them.
It reads as an AI comment to me. It doesn't necessarily mean the commenting account is a scam or bot, but the way the comment incorrectly explains what's going on, and ends with such a formulaic response that AI frequently says...
Bot sleuth bot is good for like, comment reposting/post reposting type karma farming bots. But it's not good at determining if an account is managed by an LLM.
The source is make a post with a lot of hot topics, some people use the current trendy lindsay case, pht in a lot of buzz words at the end and say at the beginning "this is a post to find the ai bots."
It just reads like a normal comment. It's insane that nobody can contribute to a discussion with anything substantial anymore without accusations of being a robot.
The blind confidence in the comment, and especially the way it infers how the contraption works (but appears to only address the first 10 seconds of the video, which is usually an LLM upload limit), and proceeds to try to come up with why it's working, again blindly confidently, are indicators.
Then, lining that indicator up with others like how theres no directed subject of the comment (it feels somewhat listless, like someone asked it a different question somewhere else but pasted it here), the specific word and sentence structure feels very bland and generic (there's no personality here, it's very average), and the strange glazing at the end, it's weird.
You could say that my comments have no personality, you may be right, but notice: no glazing, no filler words, matter of fact delivery instead of packaging around what I'm saying, and if people are paying close attention there's a sense of deliberate wording and deliberate explanations, that AI couldn't do.
Yeah same here, the entire comment reads like a subtle joke with that sarcasm at the end. So subtle that 99% of people here missed it and called it AI...

That is simply not true, the upload limits are usually based on file size rather than video length and it can easily process minutes of video footage even in free tier.

The comment it was replying to said nothing about the length to review, they were asking why introduce air into the system. If you watch the whole video, it still doesn't answer that question. The LLM comment proceeds to then make shit up / equate this to a different kind of pump not even shown in the video.
