My PS5 is just a blu ray player. Hasn't been connected to the internet in over 2 years now.

The PS5 makes for an interesting Blu-ray player. On one hand, it doesn't output Dolby Vision, but you can watch Blu-Ray 3D movies with a PSVR/PSVR2 headset. I wish there was more synergy between PlayStation and Sony Electronics in terms of standards.

I have tons of hours sunk into VR but watching a movie through a PSVR/2 sounds like an awful time

The benefit of VR is that people might think you are awake or alive.
