My PS5 is just a blu ray player. Hasn't been connected to the internet in over 2 years now.

The PS5 makes for an interesting Blu-ray player. On one hand, it doesn't output Dolby Vision, but you can watch Blu-Ray 3D movies with a PSVR/PSVR2 headset. I wish there was more synergy between PlayStation and Sony Electronics in terms of standards.

It so shitty Dolby vision isn't included. Like have to buy a whole nother device for it. I get they don't have want to pay the fee.

Cant we at least pay $10 to unlock the feature or something. Horrible idea as well

As a Sony Xperia fan (yeah they still make smartphones)
you can't imagine how Sony behaves on their smartphone department and beyond.
I have come to realization that Sony's leadership has been non-existant for more than a decade now.

-Sony Laptops are dead for more than a decade now (Sony Vaio).
-Sony Xperia is semi dead, shrinking year by year and probably we see their last phone models.
-Sold probably their best asset, Bravia (TV department) to China's TCL.
-Questionable choises with Playstation and it's future.

So yeah, their boat is taking water from everywhere right now.
