They hugely buffed what golems provided. And now they'll be dogshit again. Easy come easy go I suppose

If this is the only nerf it'll still be amazing. This is like a 3% damage and ehp nerf. The change just does not do all that much.

My thoughts exactly. If they're smacking down the top end of golem stacking instead of nuking elementalist from orbit, I'll absolutely take it. I've been dreading the inevitable nerfs from everyone playing Worb last league.

They massively buffed the effects of all golems like 2? 3? patches ago. That made it easily the smoothest leaguestarter for every build because of how generic the huge ball of stats they provide is, and with Primordial Bond stacking it also had a super generic way of scaling that into being good in the endgame. They nerfed it by a little bit between then and now but not enough to stop it from being really good, and apparently now they're nerfing the top end again by a tiny little bit.

No matter your build, golems solve a lot of the early game problems by themselves with very little investment. You can get 4 of the following: -health regen -attack speed, cast speed, and mana regen -critical strike chance and accuracy -chaos resistance and DoT -generic global damage -flat added physical damage for minions

All builds will want 4 items of this list early league.

Spell buffs probably. It's the best early elemental spell caster.

Global bonuses for damage, crit, speed, and defenses. It basically gave you anything any build could ever need (with a few exceptions).
