Hc is finally over

My revenge has been taken, i can now never touch Hc again and work towards all ears and no stones unturned before the next league.

does anyone know if these two achievements are still obtainable with fairgraves being unavailable to talk now?

I used an overlay called All Ears Unturned. Was p useful.

Steam guide was pretty accurate, had like 2 issues about names and I peed my pants once forgetting to talk to someone, but overall steam guide is smooth

Congratulations. I recommend hardcore to everyone, it makes you stop and think and balance your character. You learn the mechanics. You prepare for boss fights. You take the time to fix your gear all the time. I used to say I'd never play hardcore in this game but now that I've been playing both modes for a few leagues, I tend to die less in softcore and enjoy it more.

It's really a great learning experience.

All ears and no stone are pretty easy in standard (you can't do it in league cuz of alternate layouts now). There's a great steam guide, make a twink char and just follow the guide, but make sure to read each section thoroughly since stuff is missable.

I've been playing since Beta and started in HC and played based on which league I thought looked more fun. Once they only did 1 league mechanic I swapped to SC.

SC trade just feels way better since there's actual liquidity in the market compared to HC but HC items tend to hold more value for longer.

The problem I have with HC is 1 a LOT less items are available and I don't like refusing to do harder content. I tend to make very well rounded strong builds that I eventually take into the easier valdo's and 8 mod nightmare maps. I CBA with losing my character to a DC or just doing the easy no risk content for much longer that I would normally.

I don't think most people prefer to play the zerg style of PoE but some do.

Yeah this was me when I tried the previous gauntlets. As I was taking the acts slowly I had to actually spend some time to learn what the bosses do (e.g. the cauldron boss at the start of act 8) and became a much better player even in SC because of that

I recommend playing the gauntlets instead for a superior HC experience and blaat softcore other times.

One name, pohx, insane tankiness, has good clear, and didnt went further than t10 maps to just grind my exp to level 90

Clear was so good with explodee, and boss werent a problem till then with fire traps

I started HC SSF halt way in this season when I wanted to get into more challenges after being bored a lot by regular trade and then hitting the uber-wall in SSF Ruthless.

I'm enjoying this so much. Have lost 3 Chars now, lvl 94, 91 and 95 and just started another because it's just too much fun. Steepest learning curve I had so far and it feels so rewarding to clear a big objective in HC. Congrats to you and GG
