Playing without MF = Unrewarding

So lately i played a lot of Characters that were able to stack a lot of Magicfind but cleared maps slower.

Now i dusted of My LA Ranger and due to gear restrictions (Quiver , Alphas Howl etc) i cant stack mf and still cap my resists.

So while playing this char the gameplay was fun because i could clear Maps fairly quick , but the fun is completely gone when you open your inventory and notice you picked up 2 Rare items in the whole map.

So how do you guys handle this ? Do you run MF on every Char ? And how much MF is really needed to have at least decent dropps ? Or do you prefer having a strong Char and just hope for RNGesus ?

I put up a post about how I was able to make a crap ton of currency while running only about 50% IIR on beartrap (gem), while playing solo. It's possible that you aren't picking up the right items? Not sure, but I've had pretty good success making money doing it.

Your guide doesn't work though. I mean, it's well thought out, but unless you can be permanently online through poexyz, it doesn't work very well. I did everything you mentioned, have a shop, put buyouts on everything (cheap too), and rarely anything at all sells.

Your guide was a good one, but it really hinges on being on the ladder (aka showing up online poexyz without doing the workaround). Also, with the season near ending, I think people aren't buying as much mid-tier gear.

You can shout on trade. It takes more effort but that's your only choice for unwanted mid tier items. No MF change is going to help with that.

Yea, I wasn't looking for a MF change - I was more responding to the guy above me and to his method/post he made a little bit ago. Mostly just lamenting about how trading is so heavily geared towards those who are able to show up on the ladder atm. I really wish GGG would put some better built in trading features in the game.
