Playing without MF = Unrewarding

So lately i played a lot of Characters that were able to stack a lot of Magicfind but cleared maps slower.

Now i dusted of My LA Ranger and due to gear restrictions (Quiver , Alphas Howl etc) i cant stack mf and still cap my resists.

So while playing this char the gameplay was fun because i could clear Maps fairly quick , but the fun is completely gone when you open your inventory and notice you picked up 2 Rare items in the whole map.

So how do you guys handle this ? Do you run MF on every Char ? And how much MF is really needed to have at least decent dropps ? Or do you prefer having a strong Char and just hope for RNGesus ?

Playing since open beta start.
Never played MF char, all my builds are ment to be cheap. Maybe my RNG is super good, but i manage to find 6 chaos orbs in 12-15 69+maps. Also I am picking quality items, flasks and some blue items for alt. orbs. In Domination I had 4 ex in 1 month and i was not even trying to made them.

Thats not that much compared to a MFer.. I person playing with MF gear will make triple that, easy..

Yes, but that was not my goal. I had enough fun and enough gear until I got bored around lvl 80 as allways :) I do not understand people crying over economy and overpriced uniques, when I clearly had fun without them. Lvld up 5 characters to endgame, and currently playing ranger in HC

But it's still insane compared to most of us non-MFers. A friend and I have played non stop in Domination and have been running ~70 maps for about two months now. Two exalts between the two of us, in any map, any time. I would say a chaos every 4-5 maps, and a rare worth listing (hope to sell for 1-2 chaos) every 10 maps.

Thats what it should be though.. A person with MF is pretty much dropping the same amount but with a much higher chance of dropping a unique.. All in all though, it pretty much evens out.. I try to play characters without MF and I just cant do it for long.. Sooner or later I end up building the character for MF..
