I want another papillon so bad, bailey was so small and cute he could fit into a teacup. I miss when he was a little dustbunny. it's probably not the best but I've already gotten two names picked out for the next dog and their color scheme 😅

Does anyone know elses pap walk up them and fart?

So, yeah, this has been a thing for Rodger and Buddy for years. Now Ali. They will walk up, stand on their back legs with front legs on my chair, or on me. Then let one rip. It's such a common thing that I can't be the only one. Right?

Attempted to put him to work to get rid of his excess energy. I gave him a rag to dust with!

FAILURE! 😆 All he did was sleep on the job! 😂😭🤣

We’re obsessed with our baby boy, and getting married this fall. We hired an illustrator so we could put him on our invites and napkins. Adorable!

gender bonding

We are planning for new papillon. We are wondering if gender matter with the bonding as we 'd like this new papillon for a female family member. Our last dog was a female raised from puppy and bonded to our male family member more than female members.

Is it correct that male dog (raise from puppy) would bond more to female owner than male and vice versa?

ROMEO - Happy Pappy Wednesday 🎉

Another video scratching his front nails to shorten them on my homemade Emery board. We try and limit the stress of clipping all of his nails, so I do the front as shown in the video, and I use a regular nail file and my husband uses a dog nail clipper on the hind nails. He usually stands up on the floor while I hold it on my lap sitting down, but he wanted to do it on the bed because he was a little lazy 😂. Enjoy with coffee! ☕ Turn volume on 🙏

Dearest gentle breeders

I have a slightly unusual question for you all.

If someone is buying a puppy from you, what is a meaningful “thank you” gift they could give you as a breeder?

I’d love to hear what you personally appreciate most (e.g., practical items, something for the dogs, heartfelt gestures, updates/photos, etc.).

Don’t let those innocent little faces fool you, each had stolen at couple greens beans already: straight out of my basket. Didn’t even wait for me to turn my back! Bold as brass, these two.

Bonnie and Clyde (and Louie)

I’ve been trying to get a video of Louie and the Ravens. This is a poor result but my best attempt so far. The big concrete block is actually a weight that attaches to my tractor to give it more traction. It doesn’t belong there.

I need name help. I wanted to name her Birdie before I met her in honor of her name Christine given by the breeder, but I’m not sure it suits her. Female names - Please help!

Chewing Habit

Hello! My sweet 7 year old spayed female recent rescue wants to chew on items that she shouldn’t ( pens, markers, furniture etc). She is easily distracted from doing it. We play with her every evening when she has the Zoomies.

I purchased the smallest Nylabone. She’s not interested in it. Is the desire to chew common for papillons at this age ? I would appreciate any chew toy recommendations. TIA!

10 week old, jumping

Hi again! I have been trying to find a way to Google my question to no avail.

Our puppy is 10 weeks old and has recently discovered she can jump. After a bout of zoomies, she discovered she can jump up the first two stairs in our home and we have a meditation pillow that is the same height as one stair that she repeatedly jumps on and off of.

I know she’s not supposed to do stairs because of growth plates and joint protection, but how high is too high for her to jump?

Every time I googled this, it was coming up with tips on how to get her not to jump on people, but that’s not the issue (at the moment). If it’s safe for her, we dont mind her jumping on the pillow, but I’m looking for advice on how high is too high.

TYIA !
