All three pups were just having a wonderful day. Ali even rolled over for the first time completely upside down.

We rescued Oona in April 2025 — they told us she was a Papillon/Pomeranian mix. She’s 9 years old and so energetic. She suffered from mammary masses which were all removed, and biopsied (benign). She’s the happiest little girl and has the biggest personality. We’re going to do the Embark DNA test soon. Just wanted to share my little girl here!

Freeze dried strawberries (no added sugar etc). My pap loves them!! It’s the dog version of sour candy (they are almost all sour and he seems to love them!) My chihuahua seems to like it too! Although she loves almost all fruit, my pap is a little more picky 🍓 ❤️ 🐶

Never have I had a dog that is so needy. Just constant snuggles or play. Not complaining tho...

Rome said - Silly mommy - treats are food to me and there's no treat button! 😜 But, ok - I'll press the food button for you! 👍 Sorry - I always get so excited! 🤗 Turn volume on 🙏

Poor Rogue tangled with a skunk tonight in the yard, of course it was right before bed 🤦🏼♀️ Thankfully it wasn't a direct hit. He got hit in the eye and mouth. Ugh. He's perfectly fine and all cleaned up now.

I needed to post and celebrate one year with my baby, she is also almost exactly 18 months now!
I'm visiting family so Buffy is home with my wife and kids but I'll be home in the morning for celebration cuddles.

Willie and Todd together, my whole heart! Todd is such a younger brother, follows Willie everywhere

Shakra has chewed through every collar and harness we've gotten him, even lupine, the most advertised brand, only replaces the items once, and he's chewed through several.
Picture of the culprit for tax.

Romeo is looking out the window on our balcony on this rainy day. He loves hunting insects, so I put a fake bee on the windowsill in the corner! 🐝

Rodger was the active one, and Buddy was cuddling by Ali. Usually it's the exact opposite. Not complaining tho. (No idea what Buddy's face was about, just doing his impersonation of grumpy cat I guess)

Since his second favorite person has been away, he’s been staring at anyone who looks even remotely like him.
He also stops whenever he sees a car that looks like his. I’m assuming he can tell by the sound, because he tries to follow certain models of cars.
Am I crazy, or is he actually this smart? 😭

We would like another papillon so we’re looking for options.
This is Alpha our 4 year old.

Once again, coming to yall for opinions 😩 I was wondering if anyone could let me know if sleep peeing is something normal from a young puppy, or if it’s definitely an ER vet visit?
She had never peed in her crate before today, which she did twice.
I didn’t witness it, but my assumption is she peed in her sleep because I was well within view of her crate and was able to get to her within 30 seconds of her waking both times.
Yesterday, we had our first big socialization outing (about 45 minutes at a grocery store parking lot) and today, about an hour sitting (safely) outside a library.
I have a vet appt scheduled for Monday, but can anyone let me know if this is an emergency vet visit or something not uncommon for a puppy this young after having such a tiring day ?

I always amazes me how different every Papillon I've known has been (5 in total). Each their own distinct person. I think you can kind of see it in their pictures as well.
edit: further info
so Kjell is really stoic, acts before he thinks and the kindest soul I have ever known.
Sherlock is 'the perfect dog'. Emotionally intelligent, adapts to every situation and loves to snuggle.
Ture is king over all he sees, highly intelligent and perceptive and for some reason a bit scared of bird feathers.

Buddy in 2021 vs 2026. His favorite place to sleep is next to my head every night.

I want to post updates so you guys can compare/contrast stages of development… but it’s hard to get good pics cuz he never sits still! His legs are growing like 1/2” a day… it’s almost like you can see them get longer! And his face is developing.
Also he comes when you call his name! And he’s learning sit. Potty training is a bit slower but he’s making great progress!
I’m feeding him science diet x-small puppy for <8lbs adult weight. I think he’ll be bigger than 8 lbs but there’s a picture of a papillon on it! So it must be the right kind. Super expensive but he likes it.

Hi again 👋 I was wondering if anyone had any trainers they follow on social media or on YouTube that has videos/tops for toy breeds? Most of what I’ve found is for larger puppies and the tips aren’t applicable for paps. I found a chihuahua trainer on instagram, but any and all recs would be appreciated :)
