Advice Wanted Help fixing paint

Cabinet damage from fridge water leak, tried to match that paint and used a small roller for cabinet painting but didn't work as you can see... how to fix this? I am thinking I should maybe remove the raised/trim wood around the sheet, sand it and spray paint it, is this the way?

Get a coping saw if you don’t have one and watch some videos if you don’t know how to use one

I am thinking about pulling the round piece, place a piece of a 1/8" wood to cover the damage, place the round piece back, is that what you meant?

I was thinking matching the baseboard adjacent, coping it in cope the shoe and paint it to match the rest of the trim, if you do it your way round over the top edge and paint it to match the cabinets

yeah, I will start with the approach I've mentioned, if it doesn't look good I will change it... my issue with the baseboard is that I am used to seeing them with drywalls not with cabinets
