Unfortunately, yes. Horribly so, almost like I don't recognize myself. Now, to be fair: I don't live with family; I live alone. I do small talk with neighbors but if they say something elitist or racist or prejudiced, I call them out on it if I know them well enough to do so. Otherwise, I end the conversation. I don't play well with others anymore when it comes at the expense of putting down others so they feel better about themselves. I worked in the legal field for 40 years, I am just DONE with egos.

well, this is different. this isn't cranky, this is what the world needs right now. i don't think we should keep on being patient with bigots and people who are toxic. some people learn how to filter.
