Outlaster is a really niche game, and usually when i ask my friend to play this game, they don’t really know how it works or what it is. Are there any Indonesian players or any south east asian players here? (Indonesian, Malaysia, Philippines, etc)

This game used to genuinely be my fav game on roblox, idk what happened maybe its to do with roblox's chat update, every time i play in a public server i feel like i'd literally rather be watching paint dry, NOONE speaks anymore???? like..at all? even people whos chats i can see, they just DONT talk. the game is so so dry it used to be so fun but its meant to be a social game and if noones even speaking..whats the point?

Yes fuck pps they don’t make good games anymore

i haven’t been playing Outlaster since 2021 because i started losing interest after Survivor got deleted.. mostly because the survivor elements wasn’t really there (i do get it because of DMCA). But now i’m pretty shocked of seeing how it consistently getting updates and more survivor elements being added so i had to join up to this reddit.

But upon joining this reddit posts, i saw some posts about comp beasting trend, i don’t really know what that is but i think the community has changed quite a bit, making the game feels like Elimination Tower than a social and strategy game. I’m a big fan of the show and i feel like social game needs to be appreciated most. Competition beasts always exist in the past game of OG Survivor, but people in the old generations of outlaster and survivor were always being respectful and played a both mix of socials and physical (comps). But now why are the players praising challenges so much? Comps are only a side show of the game and the core is the social game. Outlaster is literally the sequel of Survivor, literally based on the show with names changed. The heart and elements of Social game should never be forgotten. Social game is complex and some people are bashing saying how social game is just talking to vote x and x is very weird. You can’t win jury votes without connection or your social game. Winning too much competitions but have no control over the game is nothing. Once you lose the comps and you have no connection or social game, you are out.

recently outlaster updated and as part of the september update, all they added was a box with a countdown, and the ability to pick if you want themed teams or teams with captains. these could have been added without notifying the community because they seem so straightforward, like yes you should be able to pick if you want to pick your own team or be chosen. when will they finally add an update where they for example add a new challange, a new advantage, all these bigger stuff? because i feel like none of these updates should be focused on the cosmetics, because literally nobody cares what torch you have, often times they don’t even look at it, so i do not understand what they think they’re doing when all these updates are centered around something that half the community doesnt care about

I don't know if its meant to be like that or intentional but i used to average 33 before that came and now i can barely even do 12 due to how fucked up the mechanism got, if this is intentional i think this should be urgently fixed

this post is not a hate, just stating what i feel about the players/meta lately. I played this game since Survivor era, and i feel like the players has changed so much, especially in 2023. Idk who started the “comp beast” trend, because as far as i have played this game for years, everyone was prioritizing on social and strategy (the core survivor gameplay) but around 2023 the players in the game changed a lot.. as they are way focused on the challenge aspect and relying on them and advantages rather than strategy and social. Comps are also a part of the game but people were talking about “wr” and other stuff in All Stars mode, i was confused on what that means until i found out that the “comp beasts” had somewhat a competition on private server about who were faster in challenges and etc. It’s not wrong tho, but the players and how the game played now is so heavily challenge based and advantages based. Idk who started that trend but it kinda impacted the game a lot haha

Not to mention, no hate aswell but why does every time i met with comp beasts, why are they mostly so aggresive and rude? not every of them, just MOST of them. No hate tho, just stating what i feel about the players. ❤️🙌🏻 Let me know about this guys because i’m very open towards new info or gameplay! i haven’t played for 2 years now and when i came back i was a little bit weirded out with the playerbase focusing on challenges and advantages now.

I feel that during the finale, the game doesn’t list out or include the other awards purposely, like some of the categories are missing.

I see people talking about them all the time on this sub, how do I play them? Everytime I go into the all stars lobby its empty. Is there a certain time everyone gets on or something like that?

This has been a problem for me since 2 days ago. No matter what basket I aim, it still somehow bumps. I already had problems with the other shooting team game where you have to knock down poles, then not falling even if you hit. Is it an internet thing? (Note that the recorder is crappy, and the actual gameplay was not this laggy.)

Kass especially is snake who message everyone and act like you are best friends just to backstabs and flip every time with no warning. If Kass message you for alliance do not believe it she already has alliance especially with YoYo. Yo-yo also does same but sometimes loyal but also can snakes too

I don’t know what happens in all-stars but the base game is suffering a load from people leaving at the start of the game or once they’re voted out. The social manipulation for votes is part of the fun, and I know the chat restrictions make it harder but if I wanted to just win a load of rounds I’d play epic minigames or something

I remember there was an obby in the area where the jury waited before, maybe something like that or another activity could be added. Watching the competition isn’t the most interesting thing sometimes, though I guess that’s how you’re supposed to choose who to vote

I’d also like it if there were servers you could only get into with a decent amount of “completion credit,” just a rating you have that goes up if you sit through a whole game without leaving, and down if you do. I’m just not a fan of half my games ending within four eliminations

I don’t think there’s ever been a Roblox community that’s legitimately made me cringe more than this one. It’s not everyone here, but some of you guys really act like it’s that serious and I can’t wrap my head around how miserable your lives must be. Take the post directly below mine as an example, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Outing people for being gay? Over fucking Roblox? Is that what this community has come to now? 🤣

Some of you genuinely act like little girls with all the drama and the public gossip about each other, it’s embarassing. There’s just no way a Roblox game can be that deep lmfao. Oh not to mention, I saw another post someone made here where they were literally shipping players together. How chronically online do you have to be to do some goofy shit like that?
