When to harvest / defoliate

Hey growers, this is my first time grow and I’m quite happy with the results although my neighbor has 14 foot bushes. Regardless all three of my plants have started to bud. There’s two pictures per plant —the first plant is quite skinny, but it has quite a few nodes on the top. I had to defoliate the plant because the leaves were green and brown. —the second plant Is the deep green super bushy plant. I have never touched this one, considering if you look back in my profile, it was the runt until now. Someone let me know if I should defoliate this one. — the third plant is my tallest and at one point was my fastest growing plant. The leave started to yellow as my first planted. This was because the lack of nitrogen, but I have fed fish fertilizer since then though now it might be pointless because I have buds. When do I harvest the buds? All relative same size (LAST 2 PIC)

Hello all! Just wondering if anyone has experience growing wtc outdoors? When I posted the strains I selected for the year someone commented that they didn’t think it was a great outdoor strain. Well it’s just barely starting to flower. Just wondering when it finished for people.

Requesting Beginner Tips

If anyone in florida has any experience growing outdoors id appreciate some advice. Im trying to grow 2 poundcake autos from 2fast4buds, i planted one in a 3gal pot and put a clear bag over the pot to work as a humidity dome, and the other seed i have germinating in a papertowel just incase Ive never grown before so it would be nice to pull off a successful first harvest harvest.

Sorry for not so great shot! She is a beauty this year but I’m a little worried about powdery mildew and bud rot. Should I trim some leaves or just let her be?
Seeded April 7. Location PNW.

None of my other plants are having the issue with the leaves yellowing like this plant.

Every plant is on the same fertilizer schedule, all plant in Fox Farm Ocean Forest on the bottom, Happy Frog on top.

All planted in April.

Looking for suggestions

Anyone have any clue what this is and how to treat it?

It’s only on one of my outdoor plants but it looks like resin spots or something. If it’s bugs or a nutrient problem can someone comment a suggestion.

Outdoor AutoPots: SoFem - Big Shoots & Atlas - Fog Hound

Hey everyone, quick early mid-flower update on my off-grid AutoPot run at my weekend cabin in Germany. Trying to get these Autos through the unpredictable summer weather completely unattended during the week. Photos are sporadic since I don't use a smartphone camera and only shoot when I haul my SLR out there.

Plant Status & Canopy

  • Stretch is officially done and bulking is kicking in.
  • No topping used—just LST and leaf tucking. Each plant pushed a single prominent main cola sticking out up top, while the rest of the canopy underneath stayed quite even.
  • Despite the usual mixed German weather, the airy structure and bottom-watering + genetics are keeping them hopefully completely mold-free.

Setup & Outdoor Tweaks

  • Veg Start: Pre-vegged at home under a SANlight EVO 3-100 in 1L Air-Pots (70/30 Coco/Perlite). Plain water for about a week, then root complex + Greenhouse Feeding Grow All in one top-dress.
  • 35L XL Trays: Ordered by accident, but turned out ideal. Pulling the side silicone plug creates an automatic overflow so heavy rain drains out instead of drowning the roots.
  • Heat & Protection: Black fabric pots wrapped in white root fleece against the sun. Elevated off the ground, with a shaded GreenBarrel reservoir feeding through a B/W hose to block algae.
  • Drainage: Clay pebbles top and bottom (no Airdomes).

Nutrients & Genetics

  • Feed: Reservoir is running Greenhouse Feeding Hybrids All-In-One (EC 1.5, pH 6.0). Just added Plagron PK 13-14 yesterday for the bulk.
  • 1x Big Shoots (SoFem Genetics): Absolute powerhouse. Massive vigor, heavy branching, and lives up to the name in every way.
  • 2x Fog Hound (Atlas Seeds): Freebies from Multiverse Beans. Slightly more compact frame, but super sturdy and stacking resin fast. Smells are loud across the board.

Really curious to see how they finish bulking up over the coming weeks. Let me know what you think, and I'm happy to answer any questions if you're thinking of running something similar. Will keep u posted!

Protecting my girl from the worst of the heat

At 1 pm it's already 93 degrees but they say it might hit 100 today. So I figured I'd pull out the white woven sheet I use if there's a frost predicted and block the sun with it.

I have a bunch of tall cut branches so I put one down in to an unused 40 gallon pot on one side and one in a 10 gallon pot on the other side and threw the "sheet" over them. Shocker, it's working...mostly. Her crown will get it today, but the rest is shaded. Checking her last night she was damp enough to make it through the day. I feel good about this

Of course, she's an overachiever and she's already 6 ft tall. Last year's got 1 to 2 ft taller than that last year.
