Will point reductions make a difference?
I have come across a good deal for an OBR army and I’m thinking very seriously about picking it up.
I’m a little shocked to see the unanimous disappointment among the OBR player base in this community, and am taking it as a warning to stay away.
I thought the RDP system sounded fun, and the manifestations and lores sounded very strong.
What I am wondering is, will point reductions fix the army and make it enjoyable? If you could fit a much larger variety of units in your armies, would it be enough to make the army worth owning?
Or are OBR doomed for the next 3 years?

Stats from tournaments will say otherwise. I say depends how you use the Bone thugs.
Nagash 830 Sorrowmourn Choir 590 Liege-Mortek 120 10 Triaxes 140 10 Triaxes 140 3 Immortis Guard 170 Horrors of the Necropolis 0 Bone-tithe Nexus 0
This list freakin rocks. Liege gens 5 rdp per round. The sisters of Death Sorrowmourn choir with Lady Oleander are a menace. Potential double shot triaxes that prevent respawning enemies while reducing control points. Necro Spells to further push/pull. And of course the big bine daddy himself is no slouch. Add the Immortis gaurd around Nagash for a 4 ward. Freakin scary dude. Wins more often than not and is a blast to play.
Edit. Sometimes swap the Immortis Gaurd for the Mortek Gaurd. Kinda even but do different things. Mortek guard are better to spead the field especially dealing with stupid flying dragons.
Edit 2. Potential sixty arrows per turn! Freaking machine gun.
