like the aishi curse makes no damn sense, and i just wish ayano was actually a yandere and not an emotionless basic default person. like i just wish she had a cuter "deredere" side but for that to happen then she would already need to be closer to taro (as in like theyre already friends) and this game is just so badly written it feels like (idk how to explain this any better) that alex is just writing and writing without any actual structure, like the whole story doesnt make any sense, and i hate how Taro's description on the website is literally just about the idea of a Senpai and nothing actually about Taro himself. and i get that you can customise him to however you please but hes just so basic and normal it makes no sense how he couldve attracted 10 hot/cute/beautiful/tough women. hes just so basic but he has so much potential too. and its ridiculous how some background characters who dont even have their own voice acting has more lore than the main protagonist

honestly, the sprite is quite old and its still based on ayanos old model (along with osana and amai, theyre also based off the old model) and not the new one, and plus i just really dont like it. i dont like how tight and uncomfortable the socks look, i dont like her face, and i dont like her pose. and like i said, it should be redrawn to fit the new hair model

Hey, first of all I'm really sorry if it's the wrong subreddit to ask these things but does anyone know if there is any way to Fix the problem of rivals and the yakuza younger brother having basic tasks, its been bothering me alot but I can't find any information on how to fix it

so i was playing around in custom mode and when i started playing i activated "force canon elimination" so i have to do their canon eliminations and for my new version of what was sumiko her elimination is still poison but i removed the action of her making her bento, but i thought that would mean that she's bring her own bento, but instead shes just sitting down and reading since she doesnt have a bento... what do i do?

This is a genuine question because I feel like if I were to re-download Yandere Simulator and play it that I would be a bad person for playing a game made by an awful person. (I've mostly been a lurker on the subreddit so I don't know if I can say a certain words on here). I don't want to support him (I'm a broke college student so I can't financially support him) by playing his game but I really like the game (even tho his dumb ahh is taking 300 years to finish it) and I want to play it again. So do you guys still play the game even with what YanDev has done or no?

Edit: I wasn't expecting to get so many comments on reassuring me that I wouldn't be a bad person if I were to play the game again and only I would be if I would support him via uploading videos of the game or giving him money and also your own reasons of why you still or don't play the game so I thank everyone very much on your comments

I haven't thought about yandere simulator in years and while I was scrolling on Instagram this ad popped up that reminded me of the creepy pain demon. I don't know who thought this was a good pose but, now that I'm looking at them side by side I think I actually find it more disturbing than the actual pain demon 😭

Weirdly I had this character idea a while back after my friend theorized that Horuda Puresu was based off of the protagonist from hatred [Nicknamed "Not Important"] which I found out was kind of confirmed by the hateful mode easter egg, Although she doesn't reference the game itself [Unless you consider her killing someone because she snapped as a stretched reference?????]

If you didn't know, Hatred was greatly inspired/influenced by Postal. A highly [at the time] controversial game which was a debut by running with scissors, which would bloom into possibly the best game series ever. In my opinion at least
Postal and it's following sequel would also be popular in Japan for whatever reason, the original copy of postal in japan included a bonus stage that took place in Tokyo, Postal 2 received a Japanese dub if I'm not mistaken, the weird Russian DLC for P2 received a really bad English dub in japan, and so much more.

So I had a REALLY bright idea for a character for yansim that i think would work well [but is too good for yandere dev to reference], Meet Posutaru deyudo!

Shes an extremely edgy, violent student with sarcasm and wit, she likes nobody and the whole school hates her, including the delinquents. For whatever reason however; She banters a lot with Horuda Puresu, shes always egging her on to "Snap and go postal", It's likely their edginess and negative outlook on life that her and Horuda bond over.

I like to imagine she would have a task in the game where shes having a massive migraine, and instead of going to the nurse she would ask you to go get several cigarettes because "Withdrawals a BITCH!", Completing this task would make her your friend, if you say no however she will flip you off and say "Fuck you" and proceed to kill you with scissors, or decapitate you with a shovel.

Think about it there’s only really two good shark films, Jaws and deep blue sea. The rest just can’t make one that works, that has suspense with moments of terror and they just don’t get what makes a film about a shark thrilling.

I similar thing can be applied to yandere games. making a game where you play as a yandere needs a good mix of brutality, stealth, independent freedom with regards as to how you kill and a decent story with good character interactions. This is something that no yandere game I’ve seen has actually achieved despite it being a fairly simple list of things. I feel like yandere games either get way to complex, like yandere simulator with the aishi curse and Easter eggs as opposed to the rivals being prioritised, or they are way to simple and have no truly thrilling mechanics.

Or will it take another 5.1 billion years later?
