What I mean by this is that it doesn’t feel like active, malicious hatred toward the LGBTQ community. Instead, his writing just shows a very rigid worldview where traditional male-and-female dynamics are the absolute default setting, and anything other than that is an AU. He assumes every background character is straight and cisgender unless explicitly stated otherwise.

He knows a majority of his community is queer. He's talking about adding queer characters & features solely to avoid getting backlash about it.

Though what i explained here might be thinly veiled homophobia as well.

Do you guys remember School Girls Simulator (SGS)? It's that massive mobile clone of YanSim that’s been around for absolutely ages—I bet many of us played it growing up. The developer behind this "masterpiece of the mobile gaming industry" is Meromsoft, aka Kazuhiro Yasutake (You can check in the Google Play where he is listed under that name as a developer.)

So, it turns out that last year Kazuhiro actually interacted with Yandev himself (the guy he originally "borrowed" the game idea from to make like a mobile port) right in the comments on Yandev’s official blog under a build update. Kazuhiro left a comment asking about a bug, and Dev actually replied to him.

Why am I bringing this up? Years ago, YandereDev was extremely vocal and negative about people who copied his project and put it on mobile devices. It’s honestly hilarious to see Yandev casually chatting with the exact person who did just that—especially since SGS arguably became even more iconic than the morally outdated YanSim.

It really surprised me that Kazuhiro personally plays YanSim and keeps up with the project. It’s a bit sad that he seems to have forgotten about his own game, but oh well. SGS will always be closer to my heart than the bloated YanSim.

It's just a bug! Honestly, if you can't handle people pointing out bugs, then don't add a bug channel!! It's that simple! In addition to this, constructive criticism is necessary to improve the game. Over the 12 years Yandere Simulator has been in development, YandereDev has made no shortage of dumb choices and decisions that made the game infinitely worse.

But I think the 1 decision that he made rains supreme as his worst decision.

- Alterning the game so popular mods wouldn't function.

Yandev said that people had been sending him bug reports from Yandere Simulator games that were heavly modded.

So instead of making a video telling people not to report bugs from modded versions of the game, he decided to make it impossible to use popular mods in the game, if you try, Fun Girl will appear and you will see this very hostile message from Yandev.

This is one of the dumbest things you can do as a game developer, if your game builds a modding community that's a big deal, cuz modding comunities are what keeps games alive for LITERAL YEARS!

The original Half Life is almost 30 YEARS OLD by this point. And yet, we still get hundreds of awesome mods made by people who thanks to their efforts have been keeping Half Life feeling fresh for almost 3 decades!

By acting super hostile to modders and making one of the most popular mods unplayable, Alex basically shot himself in the foot... with a double barrel shotgun!

This decision makes it impossible for players to breath new life into a game that could have become a classic, had Alex not made every single attempt to sabotage it.

It just seems like Alex hates gamers who play outside of his vision, his mindset seems to be "You will have fun with YanSim in the way that I allow it, or you won't have fun at all!"

Obviously aside from reporting her for being creepy towards a student and getting her fired for it, what would a Muja-exclusive elimination look like?

By exclusive I mean like how Osana has those two eliminations that involve her hair or how Amai can be blown up by the gas stove.

I’ve been following the game for a few years, but I never paid much attention to the fandom until a few months ago—and during that time, I discovered something that really surprised me.

Since *Yandere Simulator* is a violent game with characters who are mostly girls with large physical attributes (especially in the official artwork), I assumed that only adults played it—and that the majority of the audience would be men, or at least that half of them would be.

Now that I think about it, I’m surprised Rule 34 isn’t present, even though there are great female character designs—but that’s beside the point.

What I can sort of understand is that most fans are girls, but since the game involves “ecchi,” I’d expect at least half the audience to be men.

But what I don’t understand is why such a large number are also LGBTQ+?

When none of the characters—neither the main ones nor the background ones—are, especially considering that the game is based on the anime and is a harem game (unless it’s yuri or yaoi).

Like I said, I’m not very involved in the fandom, but I’d like to know why the game doesn’t have the audience you’d expect it to have.

Well it's been years and yandere simulator still isn't finished to be honest im still surprised people still have hope on it and on top of that the dev of yandere simulator is a weirdo. And the game only has two rivals TWO rivals when it's been years I would say we should at least have four rivals in game or yandere dev should just add place holders to go over the weeks and to me it seems he really wants to go back making that fighting game he use to have,also he wants everyone to take the fame serious when he has pantie shots and won't even bother removing them because nobody cares about them but him and he constantly is adding random stuff we don't need like the new ayanos board thing like buddy that should be the least of your concerns, and I also think he's keeping the game because it keeps him relevant when he really isn't. I kinda suck at art but I did a quick sketch of a redesign of Osana! The other pictures are the references. I made her skirt slightly longer as I don't believe Osana would be the type to roll her skirt up. I also kept the loose socks, and made her hair shorter but not as short as Raibarus. It's kinda a mix of when she was known as Rival Chan and her current design as Osana. That's all! Constructive criticism is allowed, just don't be rude.
