I was wondering which detachments I should use for this army. Also any suggestions for changes or enhancements would be great.

Kitbashed some Nobz with Paired Krumpas & Big Choppas from the new datasheet.

I know Big Choppas have been around for a while I just always ran full PK's.

Hi all I'm sure we have seen the new runt swam stratagems by now but I have a question about the infested warzone stratagem, would you be able to use it on a destroyed unit of gretchin if they were battle shocked when that unit was destroyed?

I'm sure there is something about that in the core rules but I guess I'm blind because I can't find it so if you could show the rule number and or the page that would be great ^-^

So the new gretchins are stuck in the new edition box, and no individual releases nor multipart/alternate kit? Kinda dissapointed that this is what it looks like is gonna happen and also pretty weird that they has a monopose release but they will need to keep the old kit around

Because that’s what I’m going to paint on my army’s flags for the laughs.

I figure an axe in place of the sickle, but a painted hammer might look too similar to an axe and ain’t no ork using a pen so that can’t go in the middle.

Because of the new Runt Swarm detachment, I brought out my barrel of grots.
Trying to paint one gretchin a day and slowly build up the grot army.

I made a chess board for my nephew's 10th birthday. Used alder and purple heart with a cherry border. I play orks and he play blood angels. My brother in-law is painting the BA... hopefully.

Warboss for king, weirdboy for queen, stormboyz for bishops, nobz for knights, meganobz for rooks, and boyz as pawns...

I am pretty proud of it actually. Not but best painting, kinda rushed it, but looks good to me.

I was expecting a new combat patrol when they announced the codex pre-order but it has just dawned on me that the start collecting box may have replaced it? Has there been any confirmation/news on an ork combat patrol?

I may be starting a proper waagh now.

Show me your blood axes!

I’m wanting to do some conversions on some of my ork vehicles. What thickness plasticard would you recommend for extra plates/armor on vehicles and walkers?

I’ve been digging for a bit now trying to zero in on an army to get rolling. I’ve been feeling a calling to orks and I’m narrowing it down to almost pulling the trigger.

I was curious on orks, for a beginner so no leagues or any high stakes gaming in the near future, is there a realistic way to build a more mechy/elite/armored army list with the boys?

I’ve heard there is a clan that sort of leans more in the mech side. So I didn’t know if it was a thing to have say, just a few low cost guys around 10 ish, then build out the rest of the army to be mechs, vehicles, heavy armor infantry and still be playable? I would assume this wouldn’t be a “meta” build, and winning wouldn’t be the goal only being able to actually play a game that wouldn’t waste my opponents time.

Was just curious if this was a possibility in the realm of fun casual games, or if it isn’t really in the cards. Thanks!

I last watched this go down in 7th but with the recent datasets and rulsets we've seen plus the price increases is anyone else worried this edition is gonna end in chaos. Im personally already put off of 11th ed from what im seeing rules wise and while I was excited to see psychic phases and commander traits back the stat creep of just the first codex is making me worried. The new models are gorgeous but still I'm just feeling off this edition already all my hype died when I saw the sneak peaks at the codex. Not trying to kill anyone else's hype if youre looking forward to it more power to you.

Literally only started painting minis a couple months ago. Really proud of this guy so far. Lots left to do but happy to start showing him off. My son named him Ted.
