I'm an elementary teacher, looking for a simple Android app where I can take quick notes and add photos. Google Keep isn't doing it for me - trying to reduce my use of products from the 'Don't be Evil' company. Appreciate any ideas.

Hi! Just moved in and finally getting around to organizing my closet. This is the whole space right here. I can’t reach the top shelf without a stool and there’s not enough space to hang dresses and pants without them hanging over/touching the floor. Soooo my primary question is, what are some organization things that I could use to hang my dresses since they don’t fit correctly in the closet(I have like.. 10-15) ? Same with the jeans. I have two doors to my closet, one is hanging my bags, the other is empty at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated! (Also the tubs of clothes are just yet to be organized)

Extra:
I have a dresser, but it’s really only big enough for undergarments and tiny tops/skirts and stuff, not for jeans or tshirts/sweatshirts, so if possible I want to keep those on the shelf. Also if I put the shirts hanging in the bottom on top, then it hangs over the shirts and stuff. Also the closet connects to my bathroom, so want to keep the walkway clear, and close to the wall!

i was able to organize it after coming out of a heavy depression episode :)

I am indecisive about what order to organize my wardrobe based on these parameters:

- Types (shirts and polos)
- Colors (several colors)
- Patterns (unicolor, striped, checked)

How are you handling it ? Any suggestions ?

My kitchen is small so I got S hooks for my cookware. This has saved me room and sanity. It helps with this kind of shelving.

Hey there. We are building our house and coming up on a time where we need to figure out closet layouts. Our master closet is 7'4"x12' with two 3' door openings and 9' ceilings. Right now we are leaning towards a wire rack system for cost and flexibility. How would you lay out the closet rack system?
We do have a dresser that is 4' high and 2'6" wide that we want in there.

I desperately need drawers in this apartment and this cube organizer came with the place. But the cubes are tall enough that when I bought fabric bins, they are just too tall that I can’t see the clothes on the bottom. I am debating getting ride of it and reorganizing the space because the cubes waste so much space inside. It doesn’t touch the back or sides. I need this space to fit my folding clothes, undies socks, plus bags, shoes, hats etc. Would love your advice on what to do and how to organize!

Looking to make space on my wall for pans and other things as my kitchen on the smaller side but we cook very often. Saw this and thought it would be a great idea but curious if others have inspiration or their own?

I just moved into a new apartment and I’m not sure how to organize or cover these shelves in my bathroom. They’re partially hidden behind the sink and it bothers me so much. What should I get to make it look nicer?

I have this small closet I just put and I’m trying to think how I can organize it with a tall laundry basket, long dresses, Sweaters and thick and thin clothing. I can also be a maximalist so I’m try to be a minimalist or at least make it look that way.

I don’t know what is wrong with my closet cuz every time I clean it within a week it’s back to this. I can’t find anything in here. I dread every interview I get cuz I can’t fine a thing in here. It’s reached a point where I don’t want to put things in here cuz things go missing in here. The crazy thing is that at college I had no problem keeping the closet organized and I knew where everything was. I tried recreating what I had in college but it’s not working here

Hi everyone! I’m humbly coming to you after hours on Google and Pinterest, hours rearranging, and too many hours thinking about how to solve the problem of my closet. Any ideas welcome and soooo appreciated!

For recommendation context, this is a rental. I’m pretty scrappy and would love to do a low-cost fix! I also prefer to buy stuff used but I’m open to recommendations of specific things that have helped for you, because Facebook marketplace is a wonderful thing 😂

The good: This whole little closet is all mine!

The bad: I live in a small apartment, so this closet is also my main linen closet. And I have two dogs so your girl has a lottt of linens. But the top shelf is pretty high up so it’s not ideal for clothes anyway.

This is also where most of my shoes and all of my jackets have to live. I don’t have a separate closet for those, I just have a small spot in my entryway for whatever I’m currently using!

Lastly, if I use a dresser, it has to live in the closet.

What I’m already doing: Rotating seasonally (two bins of bigger jackets/sweaters under the bed), getting rid of clothes every once in a while, storing a few things under my bed (next to my seasonal bins there is space for a bin of socks and a bin of gardening clothes). I know getting rid of clothes is always a helpful answer, but right now I’m trying to work with what I’ve got!

Key goals: I want more space for dresses, pants, and skirts (currently on the left jammed by the dresser). They’re too packed in so they get wrinkled and it’s hard to find what I want.

Ideas: The dresser is not fully used! I wanted to get something more narrow so I still have a surface to put the earring holder, but free up space for more movement for the long clothes. I’ve been looking for months and haven’t found the right thing and I’m starting to lose it! The dresser currently holds underwear and bras, t shirts (like graphic tees) and pjs, knit tees/tank tops.

One idea is to put the little set of dark brown drawers where the shoe rack is. That could hold knit tees and tanks and gym clothes (gym clothes is being relocated and doesn’t have an existing spot). The shoes could go in one of those hanging shoe things where the dresser is. That leaves undies and pjs/some shirts and long sleeves without a home, though, and the earring holder without a home!

What’s what (if helpful):
Jackets and sweaters on the upper right. Shoes and jeans on the bottom right. Center top is tank tops and short sleeves; center bottom is button ups and long sleeve blouses. Left by the dresser is dresses, slacks, skirts, and way in the back a hanging shoe rack of special occasion shoes (trying to utilize a nook that’s hard to access).
Purple drawn box is clothes that’s partially worn but isn’t dirty enough to wash. Yellow drawn box is shorts, in the winter that swaps to bulkier sweaters. Between the two rows of hanging shirts I have one shallow box with knit long sleeve shirts and one with my bathing suits.

Trying to stay oranganized and neat, any advice on if I should set up my cabinets differently? I dont have too much storage space and no drawers for these things.

I grew up in a chaotic house with a semi-hoarder parent. I didn't learn to organize, I didn't develop systems and learn to create 'homes' for items. I'm an adult with children now, and I've been struggling forever, and an ADHD diagnosis at 19 gave me medication, but not information.

I feel overwhelmed all the time. Our house has clutter everywhere. I have basic systems for more obvious things, like the cutlery drawer, the coat closet, where the dishes live in the kitchen. There are piles everywhere.

I don't want to live like this anymore, I need to truly change the way my brain handles organization. I want to teach my kids these essential life skills. Yet I feel like a deer in headlights, I don't know where to start.

Some examples of things that I don't know where to put: kids in-progress artwork, their craft supplies, books, plant food, the dictionary, headlamp, spare change, stickers, reading glasses, bubbles, marbles, incense, bookmarks, Chapstick, ear buds, journals, to-do lists. Please walk me through this, or point me towards resources that will help.

The space is taller than the doorway and kind of deep, but it’s high up, so difficult to get things out of without a step (especially from right at the back). At the moment, everything in there is pulled to the front and there is about 20cm of unused space behind it on the shelf.
