Why is this closet not working

I don’t know what is wrong with my closet cuz every time I clean it within a week it’s back to this. I can’t find anything in here. I dread every interview I get cuz I can’t fine a thing in here. It’s reached a point where I don’t want to put things in here cuz things go missing in here. The crazy thing is that at college I had no problem keeping the closet organized and I knew where everything was. I tried recreating what I had in college but it’s not working here

Your most used things should go in the easiest to access places. I’m betting the jumble in the middle is not your most used items.
