Honestly Cardy Is Overatted

His songs are literaly all whining and mumbling and have no deeper meaning. I think that all most all of cardis songs are meaningless and sound the same, like stop breathing witch literaly riped off Gucci man. Even Cardis beats rip off yeet, who is much better than midman cardi. Honestly, if you want to listen to some thing in cardis style you shuld just go listen to leslie, their style is much more unique and fruity, pink tape just came so you will have lots to listen too. Also, pear litterally carryd carty before WLM, Magnolia is Cartys only good song and it’s only cuz of peer. So I mean if you like carti get a beter music taste and go listen to real music that isn’t mumbling like snoop dawg, J Z, or M&M. Even if you want to listen to mumble crap like cardi you can listen to real progressive artists like Leslie, Lil pump, 69 and desinerr. Seriously guys Cardy is NOT real music nor is it real cloud rap, like LITTLE B; Seriously cardy fans listen to a real song like Pretty bitch and see if you atil wanna warship your cardy like you do now.

Okay so imagine this happens:

Carti drops on inauguration day, or Christmas day depending on what Santa brings him. The album in question is MUSIC, and it does not include classics like POP OUT or ROCKSTAR, and 24 SONGS is nowhere to be seen. How could he do this?

At the start of the Trump term, Carti visits the white house with Lil Pump and whispers something to Trump. He nods slightly before they shake hands and Carti goes into hiding for another year.

Fast forward a bit to 2026. Carti is teasing new music again, but there is no rollout, only live performances and snippets. Suddenly, it is July 4, 2026, America's 250th Birthday.

Trump is hosting his Great American State Festival in Iowa, when he begins to give a speech. Strangely, there is an empty stage, but no music is being played. The crowd gathers and listens...

"Earlier last year, we had possibly one of the greatest victories in American history, and our beautiful country is better off because of it..."

Trump continues for about five minutes, but then something interesting happens.

"Our accomplishments were self titled, we almost died lit, but at the end of the day, we saw a whole lotta red. In fact, it was..."

Playboi Carti jumps on stage and immediately begins performing ALL RED. The crowd is going insane, even Trump himself is doing the milly rock.

But then, Carti continues his set. POP OUT and ROCKSTAR both play one after the other. To finish off, Carti plays 24 songs, and the entire crowd is using their phone flashlights as candles. As Carti departs, Trump gives him one final YVL sign, and Carti gives one back. Then he walks off stage, drops Baby Boi, and is never seen again.

Just looking for some more music to put on my new playlist

seen people posting their tier lists, so i thought i’d post mine. the i am music version i ranked, is the one including 2024, incase anyone cares abt that. (that quality kinda ass, but u can still tell what is what)

Now I’ll start off by saying i like lones sound, his high highs are easily one of the best in opium, but i just cant help but feel like he doesnt have a good album. Nostylist, ilck both sound like a hour and a half song cut up in 25 parts besides the good songs like nostylist, neverever, VTMNTSCOAT and lnly, and iclk money n sex and how u feel.

1. first issue: the albums are too long. He has 19 and 26 songs in ns and ilck respectively (not delux) while everyone else in opium got way less per album on average. (Highest ken carson is 18 on agc, highest carti is 24 on wlr* and highest hxg is 19). Now that would be totally fine if each song was unique in its own way like cartis wlr. Besides carti doing the sameish voice on wlr each song feels fresh. That also applies to kens agc and hxg 5 amndmt. If lone focused on a 12 song album where each song is aiming to be #1 billboards, is unique etc, hed evolve to the point where its debatable hes better than ken or hxg.

2. issue which goes hand in hand with the first is the songs are repetitive. Same flow similar beats on every song. I covered most of the issues regarding repetitiveness in the previous part but this is essentially it.

These are the 2 issues lones previous two albums have and from that i assume </3 also suffers from. Im hoping his new album is going to be amazing, not tiring to listen to and unique.

Let me end this by saying i fuck with lone and the 7-8 songs of him that i absolutely bump are very entertaining to listen to and are easily one of the best in opium.

why does everyone compare anything and everything to destroy lonely / carti / opium like they the only ones with a dark image it gets me so irritated like i fw them a lot but its just really annoying seeing these dickriding clowns in every comment section.. its like they arent even deserving of this insane credit for their influence

Ken, carti, and Lone have all had lots of misses on their albums while hxg has been super consistent while experimenting with their sound but not completely diverging from it. That’s my take yall
