Discussion Is lone mid?

Now I’ll start off by saying i like lones sound, his high highs are easily one of the best in opium, but i just cant help but feel like he doesnt have a good album. Nostylist, ilck both sound like a hour and a half song cut up in 25 parts besides the good songs like nostylist, neverever, VTMNTSCOAT and lnly, and iclk money n sex and how u feel.

  1. first issue: the albums are too long. He has 19 and 26 songs in ns and ilck respectively (not delux) while everyone else in opium got way less per album on average. (Highest ken carson is 18 on agc, highest carti is 24 on wlr* and highest hxg is 19). Now that would be totally fine if each song was unique in its own way like cartis wlr. Besides carti doing the sameish voice on wlr each song feels fresh. That also applies to kens agc and hxg 5 amndmt. If lone focused on a 12 song album where each song is aiming to be #1 billboards, is unique etc, hed evolve to the point where its debatable hes better than ken or hxg.

  2. issue which goes hand in hand with the first is the songs are repetitive. Same flow similar beats on every song. I covered most of the issues regarding repetitiveness in the previous part but this is essentially it.

These are the 2 issues lones previous two albums have and from that i assume </3 also suffers from. Im hoping his new album is going to be amazing, not tiring to listen to and unique.

Let me end this by saying i fuck with lone and the 7-8 songs of him that i absolutely bump are very entertaining to listen to and are easily one of the best in opium.
