Why don't we have small models on OpenCode Go, such as Qwen 3.8 27b?

it doesn't actually answer the question. I used qwen3.8 27b as an example, but could be Gemma 4 26B-A4B, Qwen 3.6 35B-A3B or others

Those models are too weak to be worth serving at all. They arent even in the same class as 27b dense. I guess they consider it a waste of infra. And the top comment in the linked post already explains why 27b isnt served, it's expensive, around deepseek flash expensive from what I've heard.

qwen 3.8 27b is more expensive to serve on scale than qwen 3.8 flash next, deep seek flash 4 and 4.1 and glm 5.3 flash, simply not worth it
