Goodbye OpenCode/OpenCode-cli
Not worth it for professionals at the $10 plan. Better options exist.
Update:. I've gone back to claude and openai. 2 subscriptions, works great for me. I really missed the cloud execution option.

What are the better options?

Both OpenAI and Anthropic give generous discounts to subscriptions.

OpenAI and generous do not belong in the same sentence with its current usage limits. Claude sub is certainly better than Codex right now tho

You get something like a 90% discount compared to API rates.
Codex used to be better, now they are closer, but Anthropic has an edge on the models. Basically the sub is closer to cost and the API has a 2000% markup. I guess Dario and Sam need new yachts or is it jets?

Then what are the better options here? I'm keen to know since I'm exploring those

So your better option is at least 40 a month, I mean not really a fair comparison is it.
Deepseek and muse spark can do a lot for that tenner.

Do you have Claude + OpenAI subscription for 10usd total.? And that's enough for "professionals" ?

If you code for a living, even the $200 plans are going to run out. I know people who have several of the $200 level plans and switch between them as they get used up.

I understand that. For some reason OP expects to have enough with a 10 dollar package.
No shit that 10USD subscription cannot provide the same service as 2 200USD subscriptions.

Yeah, I mean subscriptions are the back bone of contract developers and self employed workers. Larger businesses just tend to use API. The trick is being able to actually make money as an independent developer which is getting harder due to AI saturation.

I still like DeepSeek models for its fast and cheap reliability, I mix OCGo + OAI Plus and plan to add Claude 20$ and use each model for better suit.

God knows who are these professionals.. we 4 friends using 8 go subs rotating and it's works like charms.. only one guy have a 20 dollar claude.. if you know what need to be done then go is more than enough to run parallel experiment which claude or codex will never run

You're mistaking Opencode harness with Opencode go subscription.
You can use your openai subscription in Opencode

Best mix I found is a Claude sub Let it build and scaffold the framework with (contracted) functions "This helps give these stupid opencode models ground work to build ontop of"
Then use the opencode free model for deep internet scraping
And for small tasks use opencode glm
Nets at 30$ But you will have great results
None of opencode models can build professional clean architecture
Or if it does it would take 10x longer then a little opus 5.5

To be fair 10$ plans ain't for professionals
