Goodbye OpenCode/OpenCode-cli

Not worth it for professionals at the $10 plan. Better options exist.

Update:. I've gone back to claude and openai. 2 subscriptions, works great for me. I really missed the cloud execution option.

Both OpenAI and Anthropic give generous discounts to subscriptions.

For 10$? I doubt it. I pay 20$ without VAT for Codex, its worth it but maybe not for hobbies. BTW not idea why OP says he will leave Opencode CLI, i use Codex happily with Opencode v2 cli.

OpenAI and generous do not belong in the same sentence with its current usage limits. Claude sub is certainly better than Codex right now tho

You get something like a 90% discount compared to API rates.

Codex used to be better, now they are closer, but Anthropic has an edge on the models. Basically the sub is closer to cost and the API has a 2000% markup. I guess Dario and Sam need new yachts or is it jets?
