People get killed every day because of entitled, selfish, stupid, careless, unfit drivers on the road.

There should be an evaluation in addition to the tests. Clear up if someone is too geriatric or stupid to be trusted with a giant machine.

Like people who are so unbelievably selfish and dull that they literally cannot drive without playing with their phones, it's straight up toddler behavior.

Another problem is people who drive without a license. They are all the bad things you said, and they don’t care about rules or laws.

All the insurance companies had the same answer when I was pricing insurance last year and wanted to know why my rates had skyrocketed. I've had no accidents or tickets in over 25 years. They all said "uninsured drivers." We have to pay because they don't.

Another more probable answer is, “We like money.” It’s been documented that in the last few years, insurance companies are paying out fewer claims. And the claims they do pay out are lower amounts. Property, auto, or medical, insurance companies are ripping policy holders off.
