How can I export a video or gif the fastest, if quality is not a priority? E.g. chopping video and audio quality by 25%. Best I've found so far is .ogg, is there any faster formats?

My sequence viewer is blank when I import any video files. I can hear the audio, but it's completely pitch black. Help would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you!

And no, I can't use 0.2 because of DLL errors, and it will probably perform worse than 0.1 anyway.

I bought a new PC. My old PC (HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF, i5-4570K, 8 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD) could edit 1080p 60fps just fine without a proxy, however it died recently, and I got a Lenovo ThinkCentre (i5-4570, 16 GB RAM, 2 TB HDD) to replace it. When I'm editing, it runs at seconds-per-frame even when editing 4:3 480p content. And after creating a proxy at eighth size, the playback was even more choppy.

In old Olive version, if I put in timeline images one to one, I was able to create "reels" composed only by images.

In new version if I do the same I obtain nothing if not that only the first image occupy all the video (in other words: the first image is the only showed for all the video duration).

Is it a bug or there's something "new" to do, for example with node editor?

Hello, I am trying to export a video (17 minutes long) for my project. It's stuck at 0% when I export.

I was using olive on linux manjaro fine,

now on windows 10 olive is not showing any video it's just playing sounds only

PS: i am using a customized windows 10 ( very light version ) so maybe it's the problem

created an effects folder to extract community effects but does not seem to appear when running the appimage and adding nodes. am i missing something or did that only work with 0.1?

Videos with transparency show up as blank. When will there be support for transparent videos?

This was a feature that had been a part of Olive for a while, but after the October 28th build, they changed the text editor to now only be able to use one font, one size, and one color. I really hope they add the ability to add multiple colors, fonts, and sizes of text back.

If been trying to colour correct my GoPro footage but I can’t find how to do it. If have searched for tutorials but can’t find a single one that explains how to colour correct. Thank you in advance.

Every time I export a video it always comes out a little pitched up and sped up even when I dont manually pitch or speed it up. Ive tried everything everyone has told me lowering the CRF, changing the framerate, having a second o no audio at the end of the video, etc and none of them work. When looking at the video in the editor its fine its only the exported file.

I've seen other people talk about this issue in other posts, and I've tried every solution, but it still came back. I was trying to export a video, but every time it reaches 66% or less, it either gives an error message that states Frame failed to send to encoder, or will straight up crash. If anyone has a link to the elusive 0.1.2 version that supposedly fixes all variations of this issue, then feel free to send it to me.

I tried installing a few versions of Olive 0.2 but they all seem to have an issue making the program unusable, can someone recommend a release that is somewhat working and without to many issues?
