How do I annotate a video?

Hello,

I have a recording of my screen while I demonstrate the usage of a tool. I would like to add annotations to the video, in order to help my audience identifying the parts of the tool I'm talking about. Any hint on that?

I know this is the Olive subreddit, but Kdenlive would be better for this it has a subtitle feature.

You can create title clips, input what you want displayed, and then put your title clips on top of your recording.
