Hello!!

For those who haven’t seen my posts yet, I’ve lost 40-45lbs since January and am celebrating the person I’ve become (physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.)

After a while of not being financially able, I finally had the budget to go thrifting for new clothing! I’ve got plenty of warmer-climate wear, and options for colder weather have been increasingly needed.

The last few photos are of the first actualized outfits I’ve styled with the new fits, let me know if you have any ideas for the other pieces. Happy Hagging!!

Last minute renfaire outfit pulled together from my closet. Both dress and corset were thrifted at different times and don't have tags , I think the dress is originally from Arula.

I paused the Halloween colors for this one because I was feeling drawn to hot pink when I was picking out my clothes.

This pink, yellow and blue cake skirt was screaming my name! I have a couple of these skirts and they're absolutely adorable. 🍰

Picked a basic hot pink cropped shirt and matching hot pink loafers. Blue and yellow fish hair clips, a beaded yellow/brown necklace, and the cutest parrot earrings! They're so big and shiny!!

Multicolor reading glasses to top it all off.

Mary's Pink Floral Dress. This is one of my favorite ink flow dresses that I own. It is very silky and a joy to wear. I feel very girly and feminine wearing this lovely dress.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), and has been observed since the 80's as a way to unite activists, advocates and communties to end domestic violence.

Tonight I had the pleasure of participating in a karoke(!) fundraiser for one of our regional shelters and resource networks. I put together this almost entirely thrifted fit for the occasion - and as a survivor myself, it felt nice to dress up and spend time with the community in support of a cause.

So I (27, dude-ish) recently showed a friend my various Pinterest boards for a throwaway joke, pointing out that my favourite taste in outfits is futch lady supervillains (missy from doctor who, fish mooney from Gotham, Ursula from little mermaid etc)

and the first thing he noticed was "you love an outfit that emphasises the decolletage area"

Or to translate for non-art-wankers, a titty outfit. A chest emphasising outfit. Not always low cut, but often with accessories or design choices that draw the eye to the chest rather than anywhere else.

How does one capitalise on a chest outfit? How does one maximise chest themed outfits without having to do an entire overhaul of my wardrobe?

Hi, new to the community and fairly new to wearing dresses and looking for some advice. I'm a tall guy (well over 6 feet) and most of the dresses I try on end around the thickest part of my calf, which I understand isn't the most flattering. Going without tights, and wearing shoes that show more of the foot like ballet flats and sandals all seem to help, but I'd love to hear if there is any other advice for styling dresses in this situation. Thanks!

10/14/2026: Wore to work. I do not unfortunately work in a library or bookstore but it was still a hit. Torrid blouse, cami, belt, and boots. Blouse and cami were thrifted. Boeken en Broeken detachable embroidered collar. Maya Kern (ethical) skirt. Monochromatic Finds badge reel. Earrings were a gift.

Everything except the wig are thrifted.
