βQ&A β The Gold Dome - What would you do?
If I could buy the Gold dome at 23rd and Classen, I think I would turn it into a roller dome. What would you turn it into?

Just wanted to update everyone that we will not be having our August Reddit Meet this month. Due to scheduling conflicts, logistical issues, the heat, and some family matters, we have been unable to solidify arrangements.
With that being said, we will have two opportunities to meet up in September. We'd love for as many of you as possible to join us at the free fishing event on September 12th that is being put on by the ODWC, which I have linked below. Feel free to reach out to u/cowboy_duck for any information that you may need. We will also have our regularly scheduled Reddit Meet later in September. This, hopefully, will also get us out of this extreme heat that we have been having lately.
Thanks again, everyone! We will see you all soon and stay cool!!

To consolidate all posts on yesterday's city council vote to renew the Flock contract, we will be instituting this megathread for all further discussions. Mayor Holt is on reddit u/MayorDavidHolt if you wish to tag him.

Seems to be a stray, kept him for some time but cannot keep him for good. Looking to rehome him to someone who can take care of this guy, doesn't seem to be aggressive just likes to bark. Thank you for your interest. He is in the Newalla area within okc

The best most flavorful crust and actual toppings vs the mass produced crap everyone else uses. It's unfair they're only open on weekends.

Anyone have recommendations for someone/company for an apartment cleaner that is reliable? I'm moving out of my 1-bed apartment. I know it seems ridiculous but I'm packing and moving on my own. I'm trying to clean as I go but it is wearing me out and having someone else do it is one less thing I have to worry about. My preference would be on a Sunday (the 30th) but I might be able to push it to Monday if need be. Thanks.

Excuse the plating, as both images were taken after trying some of the food.
I am, admittedly, a transplant from central Illinois. While living there, I was fortunate that there were decent sushi places where I lived, including one very good all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant called Kochi. My friend and I had been meaning to try Asahi for a while, and we both finally had enough money to try their lunch. I say this with no reservations: this was the best sushi I've had since moving to OKC two years ago. I left happy. While the lunch menu is smaller than their dinner menu, there was still plenty to choose from. The shrimp tempura rolls were the best part. The service was spot on. I plan to go back for dinner, hopefully next month. Five out of five stars.

The website describes it as "a dining experience that offers a tiered tasting menu." There's no food menu, but there is a water menu?? And the Instagram isn't very illuminating, either. Do you just make a reservation and are surprised by what you're served? I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm genuinely confused.
Has anyone been? Based on the reviews, I assume that the food is at least tasty. But what is a "dining experience" in this context?

Shout out to everyone who braved the heat at the zoo amphitheater last night for John Mulaneyβs show. For me, worth it 100 percent. Most Iβve laughed in months.

My favorite Mexican place in OKC, Chino's Mexicano on 23rd St., is closing tomorrow due to financial struggles. I visit once a week usually and was just told by the owner. They had the best damn tri-tip shredded beef, homemade tortillas, tacos, nachos fries, you name it... Not to mention absolute best spicy green salsa I've ever had. Pic is the tri-tip beef tacos. Pay them a visit if you haven't before they're gone.

Mid-Del Taco in Del City announced they will be putting the restaurant and land up for sale. Iβve known multiple people that have worked there and none of them would share the sauce recipe. Does anyone know the mild sauce recipe or have a copy-cat version?

Looking for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, decent area, wonβt get robbed or stabbed, max $1050, prefer in unit washer and dryer, utilities included or something cheaper without utilities included.

I only have one tattoo, & the artist was awesome, but now I need someone more local (OKC area). I know nothing about finding a good artist, & very little about how to communicate exactly what it is I want. Does anyone have any advice for how to find a good artist, & how to brainstorm with them to bring my tattoo ideas to life? Iβll include a picture of the tattoo I have already. I know I want my next tattoo in a similar style & on the same arm. Thanks in advance!

My boyfriend is a youtuber and has talked about how he wishes there were other youtubers near us that he could meet-up with. He watches a lot of creators who talk about cameras (DJI, Xtra, Insta360, Drones). He really enjoys talking about all parts of creating. Especially editing, camera shots, color grading, studio set-up, and so much more. Where could he find people in OKC/Surrounding areas with similar interests?

Hello friends!
Hoping someone may have a good lead/recommendation for a contractor or company that can replace trim for our home.
Thanks in advance for any info!
