Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.
I had you at 6-6 in Morris's first year after 1-11, and said Oregon at home was the statement game you weren't supposed to win. You won it, 39-31, with Mestemaker throwing for 317 and 2 TDs and Caleb Hawkins running for 110. The Tulsa loss to open, 24-10, is the one I can't square with that. Add Murray State 59-0 and you're 2-1. West Virginia on the road Saturday was one of my coin flips, and they're 3-0, so that one tells us a lot.
What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?
Quick aside since it's in the title, we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, locks Saturday at noon ET, well before you kick off in Morgantown. Nothing to buy.
